The fan is what makes it unique.
Do you guys know if there'll be a second season or not? According to the reviews on here, it says that its 26 episodes long, and 24 episodes have already been released, so I'm a little worried. I haven't watched the last two eps to see how they've progressed though, but if there really are only 2 left, it sounds like the ending would be really rushed, which isnt good at all. |

Also Hakuoro killing people is a fan is awesome, you're just one of those kids that go big sword awesome! |
lmao dont get ur panties in a twist, im an american and i was jokingly saying that, but that doesnt change the fact that out of all the "super powers" of the world we are probably one of the dumbest as a collective whole and you my friend are one part of that pie lol
back to the anime...my only problem with the fan is that its just so weak... in real life could anyone possibly take on a guy with a sword with a fan?(i know its not real but just think about it) its just not practical, why take a fan into battle when there are alot better weapons (im not saying that i have a problem with the fan its just that he should get a sword and use the fan as a backup or something) |

I have to agree with that 'collective' statement. Only America could have a whole religion (with frightening power and influence) that is actively trying to bring about the apocalypse! I mean ACTIVELY. Like promoting world pollution and the continuing conflict in the middle east, because they think it will fulfill prophecy and bring about the rapture!
On the anime front, I quite like the fan. It's like using any blunt hitting object, but it's way more refined. I'd quite like to see Hakouro using it opened out a bit more, it does have bladed edges which could work in a similar way to a sword.
Swords in general wouldn't necessarily beat the fan just because they're bigger. If that were true people would just get bigger and bigger swords. It's a case of how the weapon is used and the situation the fighter is put in, a short sword can outmatch a long sword easily at close quarters, and therefore so can a fan like Hakouro's.

the fan is awesome... i think they call it a shukusen? or something else i forgot the name to.. anyways... erm one thing i can't get out of my head is that the fans are usually used by women as concealed weapon.. so having hakuoro wield it is kinda.. erm gay-ish?? hahaha but he manages to get by with the coolness.. and the berserk hakuoro more than makes up for it... _________________

Watched the final episodes and after awhile it was kinda predictable but i have to say that it was a great series overall.
Did that ending kinda leave it open for another season or is it just my imagination lol maybe im just getting my hopes up, wish they would have shown what happened to all the main chars a little more.

Your-Mom gets the idea across, it's of an ok standard for a fast subbing group. I generally download Your-Mom subs while waiting the other group to catch up with them.
I lost the plot at ep 26. I don't understand the story now. Help, who are they really? |

Dude id like to help, but im in the same position as you, everthing was kinda happening in the end. I might watch this series again in a year or something to try to get it more, but possibly dubbed so i dont have the same experience again. (there was too many long words like oniyakumiya and wisterumita or sumthing, i cant even spell them) _________________ [img:260:131:2764744d71]http://myanimelist.net/createimage/Puvi2Groovy.png[/img:2764744d71] |

the thing ends at episode 26 so if you don't get it by then... well you're gone..
from 23 - 26 was bleh... they simply rushed it... and i mean rushed it.... so many things being assumed and revealing stuff is kinda piling up one after the other...
i don't like how they assume that we played the game and know what is going to be revealed by the characters or the storyline...
started out great but fizzled down to the end.. i wonder why... _________________
