how is love the same thing as sex? You're making broad statements without explaining how you came to think like that. I love my brother. Do i want to have sex with him? Okay well that's platonic love but
Even if love is the same as sex, does that diminish it? It sounds like youre implying sex is a merely physical act and once it has served its purpose, to produce children, it becomes some kind of impure indulgence. And what is so negative about 'the physical'? I blame this prejudice on centuries of "I think, therefore I am".
Opinions cant just be made up on the spot without thought. Especially when its an opinion on such an important thing as love. Of course you might just fall in love and throw all that thinking out the window =P |

love is the same thing as sex when ppl start demanding for sex everytime they falls in love
for example, adam and eve love each other so they did sex to produce children and also to express their love for each other but what if...they didnt love each other in the first place? they only do it for the sake of producing offsprings and God tell them to??? what if their love for each other was love for companionship not the kind of love where i would swim across the atlantic ocean to get you the cure??? tell me, how many ppl in this world would go all the way to save a sick one???
and about the love for your brother...it was stop by a thing called moral...
and that love was a different kind of love...it is different when you express it in a different way...
i love my brother so i must protect him from bullies and teach him knowledge but if it's a love for a girl or boy it would be...
i love her/him so the only way to show my love is to have sex with her/him...
the phrase making love and sex...unfortunately i cant see any difference
all around the world ppl already consumated and make love but remember...the percentage for divorce request is also getting higher...
sooo....if sex is love and ppl do sex to express love then why they break up???
sex was suppose to be precious and sacred...but ppl is selling it off cheap nowadays so can you really call sex as love???

What are you trying to say? I cant understand.
Sex is part of a normal relationship. Where does Adam and Eve come into this? Why are you referencing possibly fictional characters as examples to support your argument?

err no. If society were to decide that incest is perfectly normal i would not do my brother. And yes, i acknowledged that it was platonic love. But the example is still relevant, im able to form attachments to people not determined by my sexuality or a reliance on them for basic living needs.

Wait a sec, I'm not the one equating sex with love. You were doing that. I was questioning your prejudice against sexuality, I wasnt justifying a purely sexual relationship. |

Alright people who love each other have sex. I would guess sex was or is intened for people who love each other not for just a one night stand. the people that love each other are people who would do almost anything for one anotehr. Sex is supposted to be sacred. It isn't something where you just do it with differnt people all the time and . Raping someone isn't showing love or affection. people who do are doing it to get something out of it for themselves. Just because people say that raping=sex, which is what raping is pretty much, but that isn't love. that is very far from love. I don't see how you can associate sex with rape and love.
Rape is when someone doesn't want someone to love them and the person who is rejected rapes them or doen't even tell the person jsut does it. There are many other motives to rape and most aren't love.
Good things can come out of sex. like children for instents. That is why some people have sex to have children. That is why where are all alive well most of us from our parents having sex and when people have children they usually love each other. Without sex there would be no children sex comes from love most of the time.
Isn't this kinda off the subject. Having gf or bf is usually up to the person.
You should decide for yourself. I depends on when you ready and your gf or bf is ready. |

okay, so by your words, "Sex is not love", therefore love and sex are the same thing.
My point is that sex is part of a loving relationship. Im not saying that sex equals love. You're taking this like its some kind of maths equation. You're taking everything to the extreme by talking about rape and whatever.
Fine! Have it your way. Believe what you want to believe. But don't come crying back when you find yourself in a relationship! lol |
