Lame ending to be honest... i expected a better plot... however the series is good indivisually to watch.. it's just oto bad they didnt have a good overall plot.

Actually, I remember reading somewhere that xxxHolic was supposed to have 39 episodes total, but when I did a search on it again to reverify that I wasn't able to find the info. anymore. Seems that anyone who knows have taken it down since Funimation has licensed it.

Whatever the case is, they're now saying epi. 24 is the last one.

It says here that xxxHOLiC was supposed to have 32 episodes total.

Dunno if that's a mistake or if there had been a change of plans. 32 would've made more sense though considering where they took the anime.

If you like the series, definitely check out the movie. You can find it on shinsen sub's site. It's incredibly good.

I'm a bit biased, though, because I love everything by CLAMP. ;D

I have been wanting to check this out. I have read 7 volumes of the manga and liked it.

So I have a question. I'm interested in getting into this series, so should I watch the movie first or the TV series? I also recently found out that this show and Tsubasa Chronicles apparantly are somehow interconnected. Is one pre-requisit for the other? Asking this since I have no previously knowledge of Tsubasa Chronicles.

Watch the tv series first(to know the background). The movie is unrelated to the tsubasa-holic main storyline.Though honestly, it seems that the crossover is only in the manga. They seemed to have removed the crossover in the anime.
