ok about the action part, that's what i was expecting, man that sucks they could really have a lot of unique options, on a online based action anime...wat a waste again...

I've got to agree with the other posters. I have no idea WHY I'm watching these series when it's slower than a snail. Personally, I am a viewer that love eye candy, action, and some violence. I think I might stop downloading these series. I've watched the previous .Hack series and were not fond of the music or the art. The concepts were just out of whack. The only thing I found enjoyable was the MMORPG. Very Happy

after watching ep6.. i have to wonder about the conversation Ovan and Shino had.. from what i suspect, looks like someone's trapped in the game again.. and my guess is its Ovan.. tho there are only afew clues right now. and i still wonder where Haseo's part fits in the puzzle is he an illegal/modified pc ?. and about that character on the Op credits, he looks like that character from hack/twilight.

This is what I've managed to gather from .hack//G.U and from .hack//G.U+ so some major spoilers on some of the things that probably will happen later on. I'll just repeat that major spoilers.

I don't know much about the guild thing going on however Shino is going to get pked hard by Tri-Edge. Tri-Edge mark is the one seen at the end of the intro when Haseo stands by the red mark it's also shown before the show switches to commercials as well as on the ground in the beginning of ep 6. And for how he looks it's the person in orange/green hair/1 redish eye holding two weapons in the intro. After Shino get's pked she's no longer able to log into the world, that's right she's not stuck and she can't log in. Also she falls into a coma (Which is probably why she can't log in again) and Ovan will dissband the Twilight Brigade. I'm not sure but I think Haseo will be there when Shino hets pked and afterwards he becomes a pkk trying to hunt down Tri-Edge to find out what he did to Shino.
Tri-Edge is only what other players dubbed him because of his triple edged twin blades as well as the mark he leaves behind or something like that. Tri-Edge name is otherwise known as "Kite of the Azure Flame", Kite being the character you play as in the 4 first .hack games. Anyway this "Kite" from what I know isn't the same Kite as the one you play as rather he's a ghost of the old version of "The World" since .hack//roots take place in "The World:v2". He's also classified as A.I.D.A "Artifically Intelligent Data Anomaly". The only thing that I know aboout Haseo and why he's special is that his Epitaph will be awakened. I don't know if that ever happens in roots but it'll happen in G.U at least. But I'm guessing that it's part of why he's special since in the ending makes me think about his Skeith form, with the sytche and all. This is probably everything I know about the things that take place before G.U/G.U+ which takes place about half a year after roots

To those who have played the 4 games on the PS2 and read the manga by Tokyopop, a legendary PC has returned but I'm pretty sure that "HE" isn't controlled by a person anymore...

a corrupted Kite PC data maybe?
