Yeah, just as Rya said... it's not a great series in it by itself.
Well, it did convince me to buy G.U. at least, so I guess the series did its job as they intended it to. sigh... I'm such a sucker for these marketing schemes. But I wonder if it can compete with FF12 in its first month of release. People usually buy and play one RPG at a time, so they'll have to make a decision which one to go and buy. I think I might get FF12 first, but I'm also excited about the FF3 on DS that's coming out in November.
Hooray for franchised games!
