yeah this arc is focus mainly on Rena and yesterday i saw episode 22
i think i know where Rena gets all her phycho actions from. the cause is that her parents split up and her mum found a new boyfriend and wants Rena to stay with her new boyfriend. but Rena refused and lived by his Dad. But a year later her Dad found a new girlfriend. i think she trusts her dad a lot but she overheard a conversation about Risuki being a "badger". now Rena is angry and wants to kill that woman because she knows that woman is going to blackmail all the money from his Dad. 50mil yen thats alot!!!!! Very Happy

Rena is going to Phycho Mode!!!

I'm just up to ep. 5 ... I think the worst thought on my mind about the series sofar is that Keiichi may have made a horrible mistake when he killed Mion and Rena. Assuming it was him. Without telling me what happened, can anyone say whether there's supposed to be an information gap between Keiichi waking up after getting slugged in the head and hearing about the Director coming and between the scene where he's apparently beating on Rena's and Mion's bodies?

This is one of the best anime I've watch so far I think.... Anyways after I watch one of the epsiodes I almost puked even though it's not real. Dam how I hate having a weak stomach.

Yes ... Unless an OVA is in the making, they don't even cover all four arcs of the original game with the anime. So sad ...

Ep. 25 is out and subbed. Once again, my suspicions have all been overthrown ... Honestly, right now I think Takano Miyo may have been the guilty party. That burned corpse the police found may just be a decoy left by her; as a nurse, she could probably access her own dental records and such to cover her tracks. Her motivation's a puzzler, but boy, did she have the means! Think about it; as a nurse, she could access any patient that came to the clinic and the Japanese are such health maniacs (in anime, anyway) that they'll run for a clinic if they catch cold ... All Takano'd have to do is inject them with a drug that made them start hallucinating or removed their natural inhibitions, then make them disappear after they'd gone on their killing spree.
But honestly, I don't care too much if I find out whodunnit at this point. I just want to see those six kids come out winners once. Just this one time, I'd like to see them get their happy ending. ... Who's with me?

i think there should be one more arc left in the game they havent put on the anime yet. anyway
[/spoiler]Happy ending indeed. rena recognised her wrong and everyone lives. i sorto get the idea to this arc that everything keeps repeating themselve.
good anime i wish there is OVA to cover up the last arc

Tee hee dig and a half~

Man I can't believe I put this anime off for two years. I've sure been missing out on heaps! But trust me to pick up a series from watching the hype from Saimoe tournaments ^^;; now I finally catch some of the references. Haha.

But yeah the blend of cute and horror and gore, holy crap I'm gonna have nightmares. Into the '2nd' arc...

I wondered how the series could span so long when the main character dying in the 4th episode, but yes ~ more than meets the eye.

I should ask is the 2nd season worth following after the first?

Opening and ending definitely worth mentioning ...

Animation of the 2nd season is better than the first, some of the writing's better, and most of the "answer arcs" were put in the 2nd season. I was a bit disappointed to find out that it's not even remotely as violent, though. It's told through Rika's eyes, instead of Keiichi's.

Can't wait for Higurashi Rei. I hope it covers all 3 of the extra stories, particularly the Dice Killing chapter: Rika's turn to go postal!
