Hmm...that could be true...How popular is Genshiken anyways?

on a side note, how was Kujian? Someone said that it aired awhile ago...It seems rather random fan service from the preview you get in Genshiken...

Kujian is a DVD bonus, only having 3 episodes ( 1, 24, 25 ). They come with the Genshiken DVDs on a separate Disc.

Just watched epsiode 1 of Kujian. It's not that bad, but only having one episode is not enough to judge a serie.

I'm definitely looking forward to the next 2 episodes.

not bad? hmm cause from what i saw in anime, i didnt like muhc... i mean they were playing wiht mushrooms O-o? dunno but didnt seem good from what they showed in genshiken

I was wondering about one thing about kujian. Why was there so many mushrooms in the opening song? Of all things, why mushrooms?

Especially the way the mushroom girl was caressing, playing and eating them.

Kujibiki seems somewhat interesting... I have no idea whats going on but the chairman/president of the school council seems to have had some sort of childhood relationship with the guy...

I found the first episode of Kujibiki quite entertaining, mostly because it's so damn typical that it actually has somewhat of a parodical effect.
Apart from that it's complete crap Smile

I finally had the chance to see both the show and the extra bonus episode and all i can say is wow. Genshiken is a masterpiece and if its in the works to have a second season or an ova or 10 more mins of bonus footage, you can bet im gonna be tickeled pink. Ending was kinda bland... but nonetheless amazing. The Kubijiki ep was less then fantastic but it was interesting and condidering the reason it exists, i could make exceptions for its predictable plot. I just cant get enough of Genshiken. I hope theres more.

I personally found this mushroom picture to be much funnier.

The scary thing about Genshiken is that the chairman guy looks exactly like the president on the anime club at our university here in Pennsylvania.

The only funny thing is that Genshiken actually has a club room. With the lack of space on campuses these days, I find that surprising.

Hehe, yeah, we're a pretty geeky club. We don't even do much, just watch anime.
