The Third - Aoi Hitomi no Shoujo

i just watched the anime....quite good...main character is a girl who is very skilled in combating with her samurai sword,although her partner is a talking computerized tank.Episode 1: Sword Dancer.
graphic - good.
plot-i don't know yet.
music-not bad.they fit the anime sense well enough. i'm fond of it.
well,if Soukyuu no Fafner is produced from Xebec, the anime here has somewhat of the same feeling(what i mean is just feeling.kind of like sixth sense.unrelated to anything) but i liked the characteristic for the main chara and not overloaded with mecha element considering Ep1 only. that's all for now.

This anime really sounds strange. "The Third" can be really mistaken to "The Turd" =P

But well, seen the screenshot and this looks good. Will be downloading this soon after I got some of the past episodes down into my HDD.

you know they make the same joke, third ~ turd, in o. s. card's ender's game. makes me wonder if theres a connection. funny, i probably wouldnt have thought there might be one without jsy makin that joke.

Well got to compliment jsy3k to figure it out... but sincerely... after watching the first ep, I really think that "The Third" which seems like an elder council does looks like despicable people... I mean... just look at their freaking faces: Despicable, Contemptible, Scornful... Even Master Yoda (Star Wars Trilogy) is much better...

Sincerely... I never thought I would be able to see Feline With Blades after the OWNAGE of Shana. Anyways, Honoka really look quite cute... I honestly say I like her. Man, her Sword skill rocks... Sword Dancer huh?? Well... definitely different from the one in Trinity Blood. =P
Btw... I really like Bogie (The AI of Sand Tank)... unlike the one in Karin, this one ROCKS!!! Whats with that Freaking huge Canon?? Got to love the Gattling... ^^ If you guys haven't realize... that freaking Sand Tank is actually Fujiwara Bunta!! That God of Mount Akina From Initial D!! Yeehaa!!

Is it just me or that Blonde guy name Ikus personality sounds abit like Fey in Reservoir Cronicles or Rowen in Erementar Gerad not to mention looks almost the same... although they're from different seiyuus ^^;;

Well I like this anime since the first ep really looks promising... I wonder what will the 2nd ep holds? And, jsy3k... if you look closely at the ending theme... I'm pretty sure you'll be looking forward for the later episode. Just incase you're lazy to do so... this is some service for you from your faithful friend and comrade in arms ^^

dld last week, just got a chance to watch it this morning. Very good anime so far. Sword work is well done and the tank dude is a pretty cool. Story probly to come in the next couple eps. I'm in agreement with yuun, elders/council people are pitiful.

2nd ep.. why is there a narator?!

i thought that naration crap was supposed to be a joke.. talk about spoonfeeding the audience.. the expression/actions of the character/s itself should suffice to give those watching the show an idea of what the character/s is feeling/thinking and/or doing.. Rolling Eyes

the whole narrative is kinda retarded.. i wonder whose brilliant idea that was.. kinda degrades the show imo. there is decent enuff animation here to visually and audibly(by the characters themselves)give a *self explanatory* idea of whats happening.. but NooOOo, in comes the narator to spoil the obvious details.. (or maybe i just dont like the voice of the particular narrator of this show)

Ep 4 and 5:

Things are starting to get interesting.

Honoka whom I always taught was human is now revealed as something else altogether, she is a "rejected" Third. She has a third eye which is azure in colour instead of red. She can't access the computer system like the Third can (hence her defective or rejected label) but she seems to have other powers of her own and I'm pretty sure they have not showed us all of it yet.

Now Iks whom I taught was one of the Third, does not have a third eye. I'm left wondering what he is.

Also Honoka's grandfather's story of her childhood, wonder if that is a cover story as it seems all too convenient.

Glad I've continued to watch this as after ep 3 I had seriously considered dropping this show.
