BTW, the name is a pretty good one if you speak french.. The Wii prononciation is the same as Yeeess in English.. Personnally, I think that the name is a great idea!

well its official... Wii tramples PS3 and 360 on sales...

things which may contribute to that result...

cheaper... leading to more people being able to buy it...

innovative.. leading to more people trying it out...

variety... appeals to any age group... my grandma rocks in bowling... Very Happy

classics... game title classics still draw in a heck of a lot of people to buy it...

so yeah.. Very Happy

I must admit I don't really like it and not just because it has a weard name the controller is weard and dangerous and games are not really very good for it ifer i was pritty disappointed in all.

the good side of wii is
-innovative: none has ever make that kind of console in some way
-the controler is versatile: is kinda a mixture of racket,putty,gun,etc
-cheap: being one of the main reason why people can buy this techno thing easily
-people: yeah a lot of people start gossiping on how wii is so great
-easy to learn: some of my friend say their grandma pwned them in bowling >.<
the bad side is
-accident happend: i heard a lot of people hit each other accidently while playing
-slippery controler: yeah fly away my dear just dot hit that tv ok
-controler: different controler makes us need to learn from basic again
-game: the game still not powerfull enough to attract many other people

that is what i think of this good console

but anyway my sis who is game ignorant will probably play also beacuse it is fun... and that is why i want to buy this console
so i can share the fun(cheap too)

unlike ps3 i need 1.5 months to get it
i just need 2 week to get this(cool)

my most wanted game for now:

-red steel

Zelda is good too.

But the reason that the controlers fly away from the hand of the user is for two reasons (or so I have heard). The first is they dont use the strap and yes the controler is slopery so it goes flying. the second is the person swings the controler around by the strap and the strap snaps sending the controler flying.

You can fix the controler from being so slipery by buying a cover for it, other than that your on your own.

In Red steel has it craped up, as in not let you use your gun after a sword fight? Also has the wii internet not liked yahoo mail sometimes?

....Not to put the wii down, I did notice the wii-ternet still worked even went our wireless wasn't and aside from my Red steel problum ever game I got works prefectly.

And come on we were having fun with the wii before it even came out. Who didn't call there friends saying "Hey? want to come over and play with my wii stick?"

OK so you say read steel sucks ... OK your veiw, but you must admit that Wii is way better than PS3 the PS3 eats games for crying out loud. I dont want to buy two 60$ games just becouse my system scrached the first one to hell. also the PS3 Breaks, the Wii you have to throw againced the wall to break.

the wii had its returns too but that is mainly due to some people's inability to handle the thing properly...

tv sales made a big boost too... Very Happy

all those cracked screens need replacements... Very Happy

dangerous in the wrong hands yes.. and so are everything else.. Very Happy

namewise.. its unique... and definitely fitting... Very Happy

game wise i find not much drawbacks... the wii mote is iffy sometimes but that is expected since it is a new thing... but still the whole level of gaming experience has been changed by the wii...

a definite favourite will be the Wii sports.. can't go wrong with that.. Very Happy

put aside the not so uber fantastic graphics cause im not after such... when you can vent out your frustrations of the day and beat the living hell out of someone in wii boxing its definitely a good thing... Very Happy

That and you can get the old games too, like mario and zelda. But at least the Wii didnt kill anyone yet.

i know some cases were kids get seizures do to the flashing light things.. but those are isolated cases... no deaths have been reported from those...

and yes... the wii puts one again over the other consoles by being able to play the game cube games... and the classic games which can be gotten online through the Wii itself... Very Happy

oh yeah... does anyone know what happens if you go past the available space that is aloted for skill levels??? im talking about wii sports...
