Not sure if we want to link this to the original Mai-HiME discussion, but I think this will generate enough conversation on it's own. I just read on www.animenewsnetwork.com that May's issue of Megami Magazine announced a 4-episode mini-series based off of Mai-HiME. I know the people who frequent this site might have more to say about it... so let's hear it!!! Very Happy

Would they have enough plot material to go with another season? I'm sure there's a manga so what's the progress on it?

I mean, Shana, my other anticipated anime ended with more manga storyline to cover. I'm asking is it the same for 'Otome?

If so, I wonder if the OAV's will cover the rest, or might a chance of a second season really exist?

well i'm glad they're gonna make a few extra episodes but i wonder what kind of episodes it will be... will it contain a good story or will it be a few silly episodes just to make money...

I really hope not, because if it isn't related to this storyline, then why call it "Mai-Otome" at all? I mean, 'Otome' wasn't related to 'HiME', therefore they called it something different. I hope they do the same with this.

Well my guess is that they're either going to cover stuff from Mais past, or in general cover some past events such as Miyu and Twelve kings war

I really see no point in continuing the story from where the series ended. There's nothing much to tell and I for one wouldn't want to see any : "Nagi strikes back" stuff Wink

Well whatever it may be I'm waiting for it enthusiastically Smile

nice. maybe they'll add some actual closure to the series unlike some other ones....anyway i always wondered, y are there only yuri pairs not that i object or anything but c'mon the only real guy/girl relationship was btw kazuya and akane

It looks absolutely awesome! And so the story somehow continues after all. Doesn't matter too much to me, it's just fantastic to be able to see the cast again!

(Wonder if Nina has any part in these?)

I hope it will be interested than the Mai-Otome as I found that the Mai-Otome is not as interesting as Mai-Hime.

Did anyone know when will the official releasing date for this anime? Very Happy
