(Editor's note: NHK discontinued the series after catching up to the novel's storyline. However, Taiki's novel conclusion has recently ended, so there are talks of the series restarting... effectively making this 8 out of 10 ineffective)
|
Could anybody care to elaborate more on this matter???
May I know the novel book name on Taiki'd novel conclusion?
Is that a new book of Juuni Kokki series from Ono sensei after 2 years?
How true is the talk of the series restarting production?
The books I found ended 2 years ago.
I really felt sooooo depressed when I finished the series and never found out what really happened in Tai Kingdom. |

This is the translation project for it. The book is, "Tasogare no Kishin, Akatsuki no Sora," and was written in 2001. Some people argued that the reason why they didn't animate it is because it didn't have Youko in it, but that is untrue.
Tai kingdom collapsed because Taiki thought the emperor was assassinated. This site will probably pose more questions than answers. I think everyone is hoping for a continuation of the series, but who knows. They screwed up the novels somewhat in the adaptation. |

Wow... I heard great stuff about this series so I managed to download it... all of the 9.7 gig torrent -_-;
The first few episodes... gosh how I wished for someone just to kill that red head.... she was so useless..
but now around episode 10, I can't get enough of the story. Everything is starting to make sense and its a wonderful background world created to fill the story.
It reminds me of something like Spirited Away, when you watch it... you feel like its a totally new world which is pretty cool. Unfortunately I also heard the story is not complete... so i'm dreading the ending. I hope all the stuff with Kei is resolved by the end of the 45 or so episodes. _________________

I've postponed watching Juuni Kokki for quite a long time but today I finally decided to give it a try (since being ill the last few days has given me plenty of time to kill...).
At first it seemed to start in a typical shoujo way (like Fushigi Yuugi, etc.)... However, by the time I realized that there were actually no gay cross-dressers and beautiful heroes readily offering to protect the heroine, I was so much into it I was dying to see every next episode. This is the first worth-while fantasy show I've seen since Berserk and I can't decribe how much I'm blown away by the great storytelling, art, music, etc. Moreover there's a surprising lack of any common anime/manga cliches (that's probably because it's based on a book?). Look like it'll definitely become one of the reasons I love anime.
Anyway, I've still got 3/4 of the show to go, can't wait to see how the story develops! |

well, i'm glad u guys liked it. i've been trying to get ppl to watch this show for a while now and when they do i get satisfied. lately, i've also been thinking that i actually have an impeccable taste when it comes to anime selection --- so always follow my words, they wont lead u astray (haha yeah right u say).
anyway, havent been here in a while, never have been this busy with school and life, so much that my newly purchased junni kokki chinese version books will remain unread till christmas most likely.
oh how i loved that 40 something episode... the one that finishes the final story arc. it just makes u feel good. i dont watch anime for a 2nd time (other than LE), but that ep i've seen 3 times methinks. anyway i'm just bored and dont want to do what i must. but i shall stop now. oh btw, i saw that house of flying dagger movie. better costumes and props than Hero, but every thing else fail miserably. |

I'm at episode 18 and WOW this series is great. It has the best character development I've seen in an anime so far.
Sort of dreading the ending though since everyone basically says it ended abruptly. However for now am enjoying every moment of each episode. |

As Kaiser said in the article, you can get it from Boxtorrents.
I wonder what happened to Tai's Kingdom, since at ep 45 we don't get to find out the conclusion of that stroy arc. I mean how does the story end for the lost taiho and the missing king? Wished they had made the full 68 episodes instead.
Anyone know any websites that has information on Tai's kingdom story (I'm assuming there's more to it then what the anime covered)? |

| The story is a chinese novel, you can read the story on to find out. The anime is not even half of the novel, and at best 1 third of it. Since it's from a novel, the character development and story are top notched as expected. |

I just finished watching the entire series, and I amd absolutely attached to this anime. It is so brilliantly made with great characterization and animation. And what's this I hear about the book?!?!? I need to get my hands on that. WOW honestly, if you have not seen this anime, it is one worth trying. Although the beginning starts off quite slow, everything seems to pick up and you get really drawn into the world that is created. Truly a great anime. The one and only problem I can find about the anime is the BREVITY!!! I'm still curious about what happend to Tai. >.<
If anyone finds out what the novel is called, please inform me. |

I just finished this anime recently and its a pretty good anime overall. The only problems I had were during the middle of the story it was kinda slow and some of the characters were just way to annoying
asano all crazy and just killing people especially kids like its a game? and sugimoto thinking that the world is hers when no one ever told her they wanted her even to come?
otherwise good story and i hope that there might be more of the story in the future because i read somewhere that there are like 11 novels of this story. and they did leave a part unfinished
what happened with the kid (taiho) that went back to Earth? doesnt the country that he left need him or something?
