Watched Over the Hedge on the flight to Chicago. I didn't know Avril Lavigne actually had a role in the movie until I saw her name in the opening credits. The squirrel was awesome!
On the flight back, they showed Mission Impossibe 3. My very first MI movie ever..
..and they blow it with masks. _________________

Watched an Aussie film yesterday......Witch Hunt.....or somthing like that.......it was one of those mid-afternoon films that come on....
What can I say, nothing special... it was a detective sort, quite amricanised... the plus side realy was just the accent~lol
But even then... none of the actors were realy the pretty kind to use it to great effect...
Anyways, today, I plan on having a LOTR marathon... so yeah, a whole day of the films... |

I want to go and see Barry Lyndon at the Chauvel tomorrow. It may be a once in a lifetime chance to see it on a big screen. (!!!)
The Chauvel is also screening 2001:Space Odyssey sometime this month and before the screening is a public Q&A with David Stratton (Australian film critic) and two of the film's actors. (!!!)
I also gotta go to that. |

why is it that all the sequels of disney are fit for tv and not really movie caliber??? with a few exceptions like toy story 2... _________________

I just watched Just My Luck last week and it was funny and entertaining.
The reason some sequels are direct to TV because it cannot compete for box-office caliber and to cut costs. _________________

watched The Protector
kick ass fight indeed... so many broken bones...
somehow the fights in the first one were erm iunnno more varied?
and the way he owned some of the foes were erm lame...
but still there were good scenes..
like that part where he fought those multitudes of men and forced one guy to do a split.. everyone in the theatre was cringing and an audible oooooooohhh could be heard all through out..

Unleashed.
I liked it a lot more than I thought I would, and the Jet Li Morgan Freeman duo worked out pretty well, in my opinion. _________________ The pamphlet on First Life contains 93 lies and 7 truths.

Doom - very much like Resident Evil... but at least this one seemed to be more like a videogame, especially with the first-person shooter POV sequences
ummmmmm... wow, guess that's all I've seen this week, the rest of my time was spent watching anime and playing GTA:SA _________________

| I watched Tsotsi, one of the best movies I have seen in a while. It is a real winner, that leaves a lasting impression on the viewer. It won the academy award for foreign films last year and is from South Africa, if you ever get a chance to watch it, do so because it will change your life. |
