Finally saw Taken with Leam Neesam. 1 1/2 hours of shooting, Leam Neesam punching guys in the throat, and vicious interrogation. Not bad.
AA, yeah I really do think Cheney was like f-ing Richelieu pulling G Dub's puppet strings. Plus he reminds me of Mum-rah from Thundercats. |

He's not immortal. Just uber hax regenerative power... almost immortal lol.
So yeah, just watched it. Pretty cool stuff, not memorable, but as far as an action flick goes, it's enjoyable. However,
wtf have they done to Deadpool!? I mean, I know he's supposed to be disfigured but...wtf really... that's not Deadpool... T-T
and they gave him powers he's not supposed to have. Damn, when he gets his own movie, things are going to get dragged down. I mean, just look at the portrayal of Sabertooth. He's nothing more than Magneto's grunt while here in origins, he can actually think for himself lol.

I meant living years-wise. Unless someone decapitates him etc he/mutants don't die of old age? _________________ Get ready to vote for who you think is the Sexiest Anime Character!! |

its wolverine... and sabertooth (victor creed)... due to their regenerative powers their bodies do not deteriorate and therefore age does not wear them down... I guess you can call him some sort of immortal since his regenerative powers will not deteriorate as well... it will just keep on going and going until someone manages to kill him by completely obliterating his body until there is nothing left... _________________

My friends were in the mood for horror movies. So over the past few weeks, we watched Phobia and The Coffin.
Phobia was disappointing. Heard accounts from other friends about how it was very, very scary. It was more of "creepy" but not enough to actually qualify as scary.
One of the story was ruined by the fact that they decided to use cg for the demon thingy so all the while I just kept thinking of survival horror games...killed the mood.
The Coffin. Didn't like it because I thought the story was utter bs.
Apparently, you can't change your fate and if you try to, it'll get worse. If you get cancer, you can't fight it.
WHAT WOULD KAMINA HAVE DONE!!??
Come to think of it, I don't really like horror movies in general. Maybe it's because I've seen too many and that the genre depends on unpredictability to sell, which once you know the general formula, you can anticipate it. I guess it's also because I'm too serious about films that I'll end up nitpicking on plot holes and stuff... |

recent movies watched:
UP
You don't need to go to the 3D one to enjoy this... Funny how the boyscout kid looks so much like my next door neighour he even sounds like him... hahaha!
Angels & Demons
Not as controversial as the Da Vinci Code but it was alright... good enough suspense to keep me interested in the movie all the way through... but then I think I got used to the Da Vinci formula that I know the major twist in the end before it happened... _________________

| Saw Up and thought it was pretty good. By far the funniest movie I've seen all year was The Hangover. Also recently saw The Brothers Bloom, and while I thought it was pretty good, both of my friends thought it was below par. It was kind of along the lines of a Wes Anderson film (Rushmore, The Royal Tennenbaums, etc...), who I'm a big fan of. |

It's been about 7 days already, but I've seen the new transformers movie.
It was typical Michael bay. Loads of explosions, ridiculous amounts of sun setting scenes, female leads who can't act... and plenty of laughs.
Great, fun movie _________________ Click Here For My Anime List

definitely a guys movie...
Megan Fox doesn't need to act cause she is sooooo hawwwt... most guys would understand and accept this kind of logic...
but yeah, saw Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, enjoyed it... and after an hour after watching it, when my brain has digested most of the visual bombardment, I would say that the first one is still kinda better... _________________

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen - Worth the theater experience although some of the audience were douches. Bay knows how to "entertain". Lots of booms and "views", hehehehe. Although it be nice if they had better writers. The human male was pathetic and some transformers never had much screen time.
Farewell My Concubine - So much praise I wouldn't know where to begin. First time seeing the cultural revolution on screen. My mother was shocked by the homosexual theme although really, you can interpret it differently as the movie never depicts anything "homo". Watching this movie made me enjoy Beijing opera. Leslie Cheung was amazing! And to conclude, the first 40-50ish mins had the most child abuse/spanking scene I've ever seen in any movie. _________________

No price for guessing what I've just watched recently.
Pretty much what you guys mentioned; mecha, mecha and more mecha.
Though the fight with the Fallen could have lasted longer and Megan Fox should have been the target of that tentacle decapticon instead
Nice timing to watch this movie since we're just done with exams. |

watched GI joe 1 day before the actual premiere(sneak peak)
my verdict though not following much on the real story plot but however the ending is rather disappointing to me _________________
