Ok I don't have an image of this anime...coz I watched when I was a wee child so the decriptions are going to be vague...sorry

I watched it when I was really lil so the anime is early 90's i remember there artwork being dated, so might even be bofore that... its has something to do with a girl and here brothers and sisters get turned into swans or something similar by thier step mother...and by throwing a yarn ball it bounces around and takes you to some place in the forest...

and i remember a particular seen where a deer turns into a tree...

any ideas anyone???
