E3 2006

only one of the biggest game industry events is only a week away. Many of us are expecting to see what the PS3 and Wii have on offer as well as some outstanding games in production for the other consoles/platforms. I guess here will be a good place to spam all the love and "i want that" posts to appear once videos start leaking out of e3 Very Happy

Actually I'm only looking foward to the booth babes. I want to see what types of costumes they are going to wear. The Rumble Roses costumes got killed by DOA:Beach Volleyball. Are they going to raise the bar this year? We can only hope!

I was wondering where is this going to be held and when? Well It should be really cool. though I wonder what they're going to unvail or show there. I think that they mighttalk about a psp2, but I don't know what do you guys think will be shown there?

well the sony conference has been and gone and we know when we're getting the ps3(for those who are interested). Havnt seen most of the conference, i just wanted to see ffXIII and MGS4 and the price. Just from that i think it may be a bit expensive. If they truely are shipping it with a BR player then its not so bad but seeing as the industry hasnt decided between BR and HD-DVD..well meh. Atm i think its a tad expensive, gonna wait to see what the rest of the e3 footage shows us of the ps3. Ill probably still get one anyways but ill be more contempt to wait than get one of the first batch like have with previous consoles.

Now to see what Nintendo have mashed together XD

The new MGS4 Trailer has a big "OOOMPH" to it.
it's way better than the last trailer that Konami released.

Too bad I can't go to ANY E3 convention T.T
after seeing that trailer, I really can't wait for the release of the PS3 and MGS4. I know the PS3's price will rip a BIG hole in my pocket but I'll take it anytime since it has more games on it and it looks great.

Where have my booth babes gone?

This E3 isn't that exciting...I want to see:
1) More Morgan Webb and less of that Munn girl (i dunno who she is...is she the new AOTS co-host?)
2) Diane Mizota (where did she go </3)
3) WAY MORE KRISTEN HOLT!!! (she's not a gamer...now here close...but she's hot. Does anyone recognize her from American Idol?? I do *snicker snicker*)

Just to be certain, you saw the link that fresh_no_concepy posted right, Kami?

I haven't had time to watch most of the trailers, only the FFXIII, Splinter Cell, Halo, and Zelda.

I really liked the Splinter Cell one, it looked like there's going to be a lot of new features in Double Agent.
And the Halo trailer was...alright. Watching all of those ships with those hurricane clouds reminded me of the zerg scene in Starcraft.

Okay, the Super Mario Galaxy demo was awesome. Also, it looks like the Wii also will sport a light gun (a la duck hunt) and PS-clone controller as accessories to it's own Wii-mote.

Still looking foward to the Revolution more than anything else. Also, the fact that the new Zelda game will have Wii-mote capabilities makes me want it all the more.

Unfortunately, there's no price tag on the the Wii yet. I'm hoping they will be able to keep the the $250 price tag. I bet you more than anything that they'll get your money with the Wii-mote accesories (which will all probably be sold seperately). Damn those crafty Nintendo people.

PS. While watching the Mario demo, I saw another Wii game in which you play a maestro to an orchestra. That looks pretty damn neat. =)

EDIT: Don't hate on Olivia Munn. She's hot! =D Also, she IS the new AOTS girl. I have no complaints there...

Apparently Sony didn't do so great a job in their presentation this year. The Wii also, from videos seems great. I'm definately looking forward to buying one. On another note, the new Super Smash Bros was also revealed. Official name is Super Smash Bros. Brawl. New characters include; Wario, Meta Knight, Zero Suit Samus, PIT (kid icarus), and suprisingly Snake (MGS) is also going to be in it. Release year is 2007.
