Some things done right... many things done wrong. The new movie defenitly is better then the POS MI:2. It brings back some key elements of the franchise. Secretive mission, undercover agent work, stealth. That's going great. The actions sequences are very well done, and the mask scene.... is jaw dropping.

So what went wrong ? Well, an unknown actress (looking strangely like Kate Hudson), is playing the normal wife of Ethan Hunt. And they try to create this ... this tension... and the love... and the... ahhh it's bad...

So a fine action movie, gets dragged by some shallow "dramatic" moments. It's not right...

I refuse to see this because Tom Cruise is friggin' off his rocker. I want to see his career get flushed down the toilet... I know that sounds unfair to the rest of the cast and crew, but Hollywood needs to stop putting these lunatics in the spotlight. Only until the viewing (and paying) public strikes back will we start to see change.

Sorry, Frundock, I know this isn't the type of response you were looking for. In all fairness, I enjoyed the first two M:I movies. /rant

I watched it today right after school!!! It was pretty packed! I must say that I went in with REALLY low expectations, but I thought that this movie was fairly well done. I thought that MI:2 was terrible and that it had some terrible plots points, but MI:3 redeemed the name. I must say that I was really pleased with most of the things done in this movie. The missions were really well planned and it really put me on the edge of my seat. Kudos to this movie and please let there be more!!!

Side note: DId you see the trailers before the movie? New 007 movie with some...nobody?!?!?! *SCREAMS*

Wow another stupid movie with Tom Cruise in it. Probably 90% of the audience are girls who just came to look at Tom Cruise.

Mission Impossible 3 was really good I thought. The dramatic scenes were a bit on the dumb side but the action was pretty sweet.. and well that's the reason you would go see an action movie. I could understand why people would boycott the movie because Tom Cruise was a bit nutso for brainwashing Katie Holmes and dancing around on Oprah's couch... but it's worth your money(unlike The Da Vinchi Code imo)... and plus.. he was pretty good in Collateral Razz
