What are the moments that made you gasp and say, I can't believe that happened!?

Cowboy Bebop: For me, I think the most gasp-inducing moment had to be when Julia, and then Spike were killed on Cowboy Bebop.

And then, pretty much anything that happens on School Rumble makes me Shocked

Air: at the end of episode 6 or 7 when Yukito came home and found Mizuku lying unconscious on the floor... I nearly started balling

Evangelion: when EVA-01 was being controlled by the Dummy-Plug with Shinji inside and the EVA started attacking the angel-infected EVA-03 with Toji inside. Even after the angel was defeated, EVA-01 continued pummeling it and even went as far as crushing the insertion tube containing the pilot.

the moments that made my heart drop in Gantz When Kishimoto Kei died trying to save Masaru Kato, when Sakuraoka Sei died trying to save Kurono kei, and this one ALMOST brought a tear to my eye when Masaru Kato died with 5 seconds left on the gantz ball tying to save Kurono

Im never going to forget those moments

And... Morita kissing Hagumi in Honey&Clover....was expecting....just not at the time that he did it

When Tetsuo grows into a gigantic baby. That wins as the most memorable 'Oh My God That's Crazy' moment. Similar gross fascination in Ghost in the Shell when the Major breaches the limitations of her cybernetic body and rips her own arms out.

in NGE
The part where EVA 01 grows a human arm! totally savages the Angel and consumes its S2 engine. A few other bits involving Rei and the N2 nuclear mine and Rei being infected by the Angel

Shuffle!:
Three moments all of which are from Kaede:

1. the psycho look kaede gave while "stirring" a pot

2. when they did a little reminiscing of the past where Kaede becomes a sadistic pyscho and does stuff to Rin

3. When Kaede attempts to rape Rin... Razz

Karas:

The whole show is basically an OMG moment for me... from the get go when they started with the jets i was like pissing my pants with the cool graphics.. Razz

Elfen Lied:
since i think this is the first anime of its kind that i have watched the whole series was also an OMG moment for me.. with all the gore and violence in almost each episode...

when misuzu died, it was expected but i was still OMFG and balling my eyes out

in FMA...
when Rose(girl with pink hair) gets raped, i certainly wasnt expecting that in an anime(i know you see nothing but you know it happens)

in KGNE...
yup, teh accident, i was WTF and me heart skipped a beat(in the bad sense lol)

just started watching this and even tho most gundams are the same i was certainly surprised that they killed off 10billion people in the first 5mins lmao. It was enuf for me to think WTF i like this alrdy XD

Fafner Ep 6:
They killed Shoko! Up to that point she was the most developd female character...Although it isn't too OMG because the preview in episode 5 made it rather clear that she wasn't going to end up well.
Fafner ep 23:
Michio's death. The guy seems like he's about to get away even though he got owned but his ejection pod is captured in the last second and smashed flat against his fafner's head. When I saw the hand catching the cockpit i just went "Oh, shit"
Turn A Gundam final episode:
The Turn A and Turn X release the Moonlight butterfly and the Turn X destroys Corin Nander's Kapool. That whole fight was amazing.
Chrno Crusade (near the end.. don't remeber the episode Razz

)
Seeing Rosette dressed in black and wandering around with Aion, obviously oblivious to everything she was doing
