|
|
Hey everyone I have been starving for some good gameplay lately, with E3 starting today I am sure to see something new. However I am looking for some great games to play that are currently on the PS2. Any game except these would be nice:
.hack// - got annoying after a while how many are there now?
Dark cloud 2 - much like dark cloud 1 your weapons still break
DDR - speaks for itself
final fantasy x - main character is a pansy lol still fun
xi -- always soo poor or looking for a party
Fight night R3 - I beat sugar ray ugly
GTA - all of them - if you could make your own character it would be nice still fun though
Kingdom Hearts I - I like it but it makes me motion sick for some reason
Madden 06 - madden 07 looks pretty
Need For Speed Most Wanted - race cars run from the police. no fun unless with a friend
NCAA footbal and basketball 06 - waiting for the 07 lineup
Suikoden III, a lot of game play and minigames you get to pick the main character sort of.
IV - a lot of mini games but the game was a little short. and they dont let you explore everywhere in your ship.
Smackdown Vs. Raw.06 - ive done all i can with the game
Shining force Neo - x play dogged this game but its pretty fun, with a friend
Shinobi - also makes me motion sick
Star Ocean - also makes me nacious - it was too repetitive!
Tokyo racer - cant remember which one. - I played tokyo racer but was so horrible at it that i gave it back to my friend. I couldnt win a single race.
Ultimate spiderman - very fun but very short. I want more supervillians, and since when did venom have to eat people.
xenosaga 1 - forgot about it its been so long
Zone of enders 1, 2 - very fun game indeed. I really like the second there was a lot of freedom with the movement.
_____________________________________________________________
im gonna have to get xenosaga 2 i beat 1 and it took so long for to to come out i forgot about it. i have a couple of ps1 rpgs as well
These are all games that I either have, or have access to so I don't to see them.
I cant remember everything though, so you may say something that i couldnt remember.
videogames are fun. yay!
A breif description of the game would help to, for instance
Fight Night R3 - boxing - lots of different fighters, career mode, create boxer mode. I made tyson.
so help a brotha out! _________________ 912

Try Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana and Atelier Iris 2: Azoth of Destiny if you like old school type of games =) _________________

no bumping
but anyway... I don't play many games, but the ones I did enjoy were:
- Star Wars Battlefronts (and assuming SWBF:2 is good too... waiting for price drop)
- Xenosaga I and II
- any of the GTA games, but if I had to pick one, go with Vice City
- Hitman: Contracts (but you have to have a lot of patience... which I don't... which is why cheat codes make me happy) _________________

here are my best game recommendations if you play the type of games that I do. I hope you'll like them^^
Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 (best game on the PS2, need I say more?)
Ace Combat 4, 5 and Zero (if you like flight sims and Dog-Fighting, and also the best Flight simulator since it's release on the PS1)
Devil May Cry 1 and 3 (half-human, half-demon...GREAT game!, much like resident Evil but focuses more on Swordfights then shooting and quite an Impressive enemy AI)
Zone of the Enders 1 and 2 (Orbital Frames and unique Combat AI, a free roaming 3D mech combat in mid-air)
.hack part 1,2,3 and 4. (
Resident Evil 4 (best RE sequel so far)
Castlevania Lament of Innocence (this one's much better than the new Castlevania on the PS2)
Metal SLUG 4 and 5 (Metal SLUG fan? learn to love old 2D shoot 'em up games and the almighty Compact tank Metal SLUG and other Super vehicles)
Disgaea Hour of Darkness (enjoyable game)
Rockman X Collection (Rockman Fan? a Collection of Rockman X games from X1 to X6)
Rockman Anniversary Collection (Rockman Fan? A collection of Rockman games from the Famicom to the PS1...Rockman 1 to
Sniper Elite (This game requires A LOT of patience but the best game that uts you in the role f a real sniper's duties and obstacles, quite hard tho). _________________

Hmm...i am not that fond of madden series but any way, HOW IS STAR OCEAN REPETITIVE ????? I personally find it very enjoyable, i believe the ff(up til 10) series to be more repetitive with thier turn base system. _________________

Everything feels the same... call me old fashion but I am a fan of random battles. The fact that I have to run around looking for enemies annoys me; I would much rather run in circles waiting on a fight. Another thing is I just dont like the battle system. There is just nothing flashy that keeps me comming back. The old final fantasy's made you work for the summons, magic, and cut scenes and when you used it it was beautiful. So far zenosaga episode2 is keeping me interested. the cuts scenes may be long to some people but they are interesting. But they changed many of the voices. I guess it can't be helped when you take so long to come out with another.
I am also playing GTA san Andreas again. When I get bored in this one I make the cops chase me around.
Im also looking forward to Phantasy star Universe (PSU) my friend keeps talking this game up and he said he would kill me if I dont get it the same time as everyone esle. which meens I definately have to get a router now... so much pain in prices!
Gundams are great btw... are any of the Gundam games good. I played one and I can't remeber what it was called it was fun though.. and short.
EB games has a Gundam seed game for $25 usd but if its not fun its a waste! |

Find ICO, and you'll never regret it. It's probably one of best PS2 games and it's a fast play. Finish it in 9 hours, but in those 9 hours you'll love every second of it. Visually stunning for a launch title and the story is a work of art. This RPG is one for the ages. _________________ PM some funny pick-up lines please > |

ICO is the game where the guy runs around protecting the girl correct.
If so I always hear good things about it just afraid to try it I suppose now I have to.
Thanks |

| as i have said in another thread...play Shadow Hearts!!!! It has great story, random battles (yeah frezze912), and is definately not a repetitive RPG with their "judgement ring" system where you have to get the cursor on certain parts of the ring in order to do a spell. |
