Well, the part where his clothes get torn off are the same. xD

If this comic DOES span 70+ volumes, im thinking it will be soo degraded, that theyd have to keep adding new chars to liven up the story... Its hard enough to find a new hairdue, and face for the characters....

When i first read the manga, i didn't really like the drawing but the story is what makes it worth reading. Great manga to read

the i-wont-surrender-fighting,strange enemies,weird but trusting friends, n great storyline...AARRGH!!! it is sooo coool!!

one piece definitely is a great manga.. AND.. it´s one of these few manga which dont loose their touch even though there are already around 40 volumes out there.. in comparison to hajime no ippo for example..

It's a long running manga, but the story is well told. No wonder at vol 39 its still going strong. The anime counterpart has already passed the holy 200 episodes....

ive seen the anime on fox, how is it compared to the manga? it doesnt look too good on fox.

Surprisingly, the story is getting deeper and darker. The Water Seven Arc is pretty long (still waiting for a couple of chapters to be scanslated) but the tone is pretty different from the previous stories, including the Arabasta Arc.
