hmm recently watch POTC: DMC in the theatres with my bros...
prices for tickets on the local theatre is like 12 bucks... each... 9 for the kiddies..
anyways.. i think i would watch movies in the theatres if i am not that patient in waiting for it on DVD... and its one of the SOP places to go on a date... other than that well erm... i think its cause of whims... _________________

I still go to the movies... if the movie looks promising, I usually go and see it and its a great outing to go with a bunch of friends.
Although movies are getting more and more expensive these days... however its been some time since i've been, because I've been busy, but i think its more than $10 (australian dollars) for an adult at my local cinema...its like $5.50 at the IMAX theater in the City. Student prices are slightly cheaper, but even then its still expensive. The foods expensive too! We usually stock up on junk food from the super market and sneak it in
But my friends and I have planned to go to the movies and see 'John Tucker must die' after exams, so I'm looking forward to that... _________________ Get ready to vote for who you think is the Sexiest Anime Character!! |

Every single weekend I look forward to going to the theaters. Sometimes, even multiple times in the same weekend. Any movie'll work. It's not about going to see a movie, I can do that at home thanks to the power of bittorrent and illegal piracy. It's all about the experience of going to a place where everyone is getting along decently well and working in harmony not to disrupt each other's experience. Human bliss and harmony is a rare thing these days and for that reason, I treasure my movie going experience. _________________ [img:450:200:d0a28f8b61]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/9979.jpg[/img:d0a28f8b61]

I only go to the movies if the movie is money's worth.
But normally I prefer to watch movies at home. In the Philippines, the movie tickets range from $2 - $10. _________________

in hawaii it is usually between $5-7
but there are dollar theaters that show movies about 3 months after the opening.
but the dollar places have gum and popcorn on the ground. >.< _________________ ~faye
