Till the latest, it should not be a problem. I have that Phillips DVD player and so far, most of the anime can be read as long as it is in DivX format. Well, unless people started with DivX 6 =P _________________

Actually, the burning time will take the same amount of time. It is the conversion that take tons of time. One episode of anime took me 8 minutes to be encoded using my PC (AMD64 3500+ with 2GB of RAM).
So if you have 8 episodes into one DVD, it will take around 1 hour before it will start burning. If you are burning at higher speed, you can finish burning with another 8-10 minutes, so total up should be around 1 hour and 10 minutes. That is why it takes a long time for the final DVD to be ejected from your drive =) _________________

oh thanks for the info,
I was reading some reviews and some people have reliability issues with them, some being the player stops reading discs after one year.
Also where can I find it cheap? I've been told I can snatch this for less than $40 but the lowest I've found it around $50 + shipping |

No idea. Maybe you need to go around electronic stores near your place for some browsing. Usually buying online can be more expensive than when you buy off the shelf. _________________
