I agree with this guy... how is war neccesary at all? Only if its for protection the it is... only as defensive but to start a war is not right and it will never be right.

i think it is our nature to fight or maybe even kill other people
but after few millions of years of revolution our killing instint got tamed

yea but unfortunatly, some ppl are still jackasses who think that violence solves everything, if your in a fight wit ur gf and u hit her...that might not solve it...

Our forefathers fought to attain peace. We now fight to maintain peace.
This includes fighting as a retaliatory response to defend and fighting as an initiative driven action to neutralize potential threats. War if so chosen to be a solution is definetly hell in all manners of its processes. But with a just cause, its all worth it. So, about peace is boring....don't think so. You've your duties and contribution to make as peace loving and peace making people.
Was there anything that we benefited from the hells of war? |

sorry...i've been busy recently...that's why i havent reply to any of your post...anyway,,,here's my opinion on my previous statement that war in a necessity and inevitable...
it is noted that the world is not white or black...there's no such thing as the good guys and the bad guys that the media have been feeding our brains recently...
in war, both parties are correct...lets take harry potter as an example...
harry is fighting voldemort because he doesnt believe in muggle-free world...he believe that all human being muggle or magical deserve the right to live and so he believe that what's he's doing as right
but lets look at the voldie side of the party...
voldie and his warriors believe that the erradication of muggle is by right the right thing to do and so he believe he's the right side of the party...
remember...it is not what the other party belief but what you belief in...like the crucific war or jihad (muslim term)
christian believe jesus is God and muslim believe Allah is God...it's a matter of belief and so war is inevitable when ppl is fighting for other ppl to understand their belief...and by doing so...they're willing to do it at all cost...killing, fighting, self-sacrificing, raping bla bla bla
sooooo...if you want to avoid war and put a stop to it...teach your children about proper morals...without morals...we wont be talking or debating courtiously...

| You're right, everything comes in shades of grey. but ladysnapeackles, you make everything seem so simple in the rest of your post. Who decides what are 'proper morals'? Is there a single set of morals everybody should adhere to or should and can morals be adapted for different societies? |

exactly, not evry1 believes in the same morals, hell in some place that i cant remember, it is polite to burp like a pig...some ppl thinkthat incest is perfectly normal. my pint is, that wars happen bcuz ppl dont accept each others morals, simple as that

hmmm....this is tricky...
morals were created by God Himself...it is up to us to decide whether to follow it or not but lately we can see people going against God by abandoning His Morals and Holistic ways...so maybe your point is...it's not about morals or different opinions that causes war but our greedy sins?
