my comp sometimes goes off on its own. i've check the power cable and nothing is wrong with it.

| Hmm what version of windows are you using? Might be a faulty or dying PSU. |

| do you have an error msg before your com shuts down? it can be either a virus problem, or your motherboard may shut down itself to prevent overheating. |

I think LiangZzz one is much more accurate if you are using Pentium 4. I have that problem too with my desktop. Just try to add some fans for the motherboard. _________________

| Before i used to get blue screens of death because of my graphic card overheating, so make sure that your motherboard, graphic cards or cpu isn't overheating. |
