So i decided to sketch, and this is what came out! =D tell me what you think ,its in pen so i couldn't erase it. >< also my head was killin me. =p totally forgot about his hands. XP

holee fuck are those out of proportion.

if i could i would take it to photoshop and redline it but i dont have the time so just to point things out:

- you're trying to merge a certain older style of anime with a more realistic style [i.e. your third picture.] The mouth is WAAAAAAAAAYYYY too high up and his head kinda looks like an egg. Almost but not quite. Eyes have no depth to them. Neck too short. Hair not enough time and too much detail [not enough time because it looks like u took a pencil and just shaded it with a scribble. Too much detail because a simple outline with a few hair strokes = good enough.]

- Second picture. The. Neck. ... Too fukin thin. The shoulders too wide. Body too long, Hips too big/long, but not big enough for her shoulders. Seeing as how the body is like that. Width of shoulders = width of hips. Hands too small for body but I guess its okay if compared to the head.

- First one. Just kinda deformed. No correct depth. ODed on the hair. Hand overall needs work.

The lesson? Learn/observe/practice human anatomy.

Have a nice day and keep practicin cuz u're pretty good. And personal opinion: I dislike the style for the girl. I mean the style for her face.

lol yea you got it right on the spot! I was trying to merge old style anime with the new 3D look(old fighting game char. with new game char.). Failed at it. Crying or Very sad

The hair looks like scribbles? Right again! XD the whole thing was a sort of scrath ands scribble thigns in.
The mouth...bleh =P so weird looking yup yup. v~v;

The girl? hmm I also think the thighs and shoulders look too wide. the waist is too long for her body. yep yep V~V also her eyes are too big and too centered. looks weird lol.

welp these are really good critiques ^^ have more to say? feel free

I think those 3 drawings, and especially the 3rd one, are absolutely fantastic.
True, there are some things to be pointed out, but honestly, I couldn't think of anything myself.

the first drawing is alright.
A warrior who looses his arm in a battle...lol

design is cool.
One thing I dont like is his face. His expression doesnt suit his hero status.
How about giving him a more fierce/intense look?
