The Lake House

So, did anyone go watch The Lake House? I went to go watch it with my friend the other day and I'm just wondering about your thoughts and opinions on the movie. Well, this was what I thought about the movie.

Is waiting really worth it?

It's only one thought, but that was the only thing running through my head while watching the movie and even still now.

is this movie the one with keanu reeves and sandra bullock?? if it is then isn't it a remake of "Il Mare" the korean movie? thats what i read a long time ago. Il Mare was a pretty good movie and if The Lake House was a remake of it then it should be worth the wait unless they butchered it.

im not a Reeve fan, thought their first choice to play the male leading role John Cusack was...perfect. (i cant think of another better actor to play this kind of role) too bad he had to turn it down.

its showing in Australia next month, 27th of july.

Hmm...I loved The Notebook and She's All That (my personal favorite), and I was thinking of which movie to take this girl to. Of course, I was thinking "I might score a kiss if I take her to The Lakehouse movie."

Haha, I wrong and failed miserbly.

But other than that this was an alright movie. I think that Keanu is a decent actor, and played the role fine. This isn't a movie that I would spend $8.50 on (but i paid for my "date" so it was $17 (OUCH?!)), if I knew that the movie was going to be as it was.

The directing was alright...nothing worthy of an award, but alright. Some scenes you can play out in your head better than they did it in the movie, but hey, it is what it is.

Wait for it to come out on DVD. That's my honest opinion.

Wow, you paid $8.50 to watch it? I got in for only $5...I'm also waiting for the DVD to come out, I thought it was a really nice movie. It was kinda heart gripping for me, wondered if Keanu and Sandra could meet up in the end. But the movie did entertain me so, I liked it.
