im not sure abt the anime , seems that way the sister's soul enter the brother's body.

if you check on the web,there really is such person d eon de beaumonte
french person.A spy etc etc some history facts,that he is dressed as a woman blah blah blah...

a nice anime thats worth watching,great history info etc etc

Could someone point out to me who is Mary Shalott in the series... I am trying to see if i missed this character who is supposed to have the voice actor of Kenshin....

Like which episode and what minute if possible.. or a description of who she is... i rewatched episode 1 three times and still didn't catch her. Was she supposed to be there?

its quite a fantasized portrayal of the life of Chevalier d'eon, quite a mysterious histroical figure it seems..

who "lived half of his life as a man, and the 2nd half as a woman"..

Watched episode 10.... it's slowing down a bit... I am growing tired of the political spin.... somehow I feel that the bad guys are not getting enough punch to show a valid threat.

We'll see if this changes.

Hmm... episode 13 is promising a good turn of events... it might speed up a little...

Granted this anime has had no fillers so far... still the bad guys really need some more punch.

I removed the horror label off it.. i just dont see it to be horror enough.. I was tempted to label it as "mature" because of several clips.

dead by now.

2 of the original 4 are gone too.

Wonder who will be left standing at the end of this all.

meh.. finally finished.. nearly lost interest in the middle there.. the animation just deteriorated on the series, add to that some inconsistencies, and lots of repetitive action.. (a far cry from when it began with those awesome visuals T_T)

and they had to keep everything till the end.. very cunning strat. it somehow was enuff to pull itself out from the rut in my personal view(at least storywise).

last eps gained a bit of the glory back, overall it was a nice tale i suppose. couldve been better if they kept half the quality the first few eps had throughout the series tho.
