There are things I want to say elsewhere but can't, so I want to say here.
When I first started drawing, I draw what everyone else draw.....just a guy or a girl standing there posing or just a head. But now I realized what I want to do is not just that. My picture is a way for me to express my feelings. Its a way to transmit words through colours and shape and space created on a flat surface. I enjoy doing drawingswhich would generate certain emotional impact on the viewer, or drawings that can almost tell a story. But most of my pal's they just like to draw pretty girls.
So I am a bit sad and felt I am all alone. I love to draw beutiful girls and good looking guys. But just doing that isnt challeging and is not creative.
I want to creat.


I was kindas expecting alot more traffic in the summer time in this forum. Looks like I was wrong. Maybe people prefer to do out door activities when the sun is good.

i actually started a manga that went for 7 pages.. before i realized i should come up with a STORYLINE first before jumping into things. hahaha, oh well. it was a very nice experience. i found that i drew better when i knew what i was drawing, rather than just drawing for no reason (like just random characters or stuff).

and yes.. this forum isn't as crazy active as expected this summer.

Well, I don't do full colored CG too often. Mostly concept sketches and then I take them into 3dsMax and make models out of it. As for the CG above, I did say the first one is my favorite; with the fly turtle being my second favorite Overall you got some really nice work up there, keep it up

I was so thinking what you werer sayin about the emotion and stuff you want the viewr to have for i felt different moods when i looked at thoe pics and here's what i felt when i loked at each

laid back, bored yet not so bored as to sleep. really cill mood and motivated, very awake. peaceful but lonely

very fast, longing for something, to get out and explore. to see the whole picture. the feeling of wanting to go somewhere, to a place that might not exist. very beautiful day out. very excited feeling, aventuous, curious. not bored at all.

feels as if an old memory or childhood memory. feels as if autum day. not sure how to explain it ^^;. very peaceful nolstagic feeling...but i kinda feel lonely

jsut basially as what the title says, meeting in the woods. bright cool day. forest feels very enchanted make-belief but i ahve a feeling of wanting such a place to exist in real life. feels as if something i was looking for is right before me, at teh end of this flight of steps.

overall i love just love your work. my favorite one has to be the encounter in the woods. but teh flying turtle and the rusted truck has a very nice feeling to it as well.

The "Encounter in the Woods" is the one for me I think. Not because it was done in a different program, but because I liked the concept.. steps leading to a forest of wonder.

I draw CG's too in Photoshop CS, but they don't have those characters like you do.. mine's surreal, haha. I can't really draw good characters~

Like what xristyan said, it reminds me of a dream. Just flying, with the world beneath me and the air blowing through my hair.

Hopefully that turtle wont die from that turtle weed he's smoking. jk

I draw almost everyday, whether it be a doodle or a quick sketch. Sometimes i get lazy, or my family drags me off somewhere so drawing can be quite infrequent. =( I wish i had the stamina to draw all the time, but sometimes i dont.

The turtle is my favorite. ITS SO CUTE XDDD. I WANNA FLY ON A TURTLE!

Now that I think about it, maybe my fave now is the Rusted Truck.

It is sooo nostalgic, it feels like some long ago memory that makes me feel warm inside~

Hahaha... well, it inspired me to wite a short thingie~
