Umm that might be a li'l too extreme ^^UUU. But yeah, it's good to have Nanoha and the others back. I've been looking forward to this ever since it was announced and now that it's here we'll only have to go through the weekly torture of waiting for the next episode XD.
Side note: I hope Yuuno and Arf will be in the show, they did a good job in Nanoha and A's so....... _________________ Reality is wrong.

guyz, nanoha strikers MQ version is ready to download from yesy torrent, but it is still not up on the A-source fansubs yet =D

Nope, sorry ^^. But personally I'm waiting for "the Triad"'s fansubs. I've got the whole Nanoha series under their fansubs, so I'd like to keep it that way. Oh and XxrenxX: Please don't double post. Instead use the "Edit" button =D _________________ Reality is wrong.

It is medium quality. Pretty much the same as the MQ of yesy fansub version. Their translation is a bit different, but both are pretty much accurate in their translation. _________________ Innocent Tranquility

I saw that Nanoha & DGz comes with a more accurate translation (Liutenant). For yesy, they came out as "Instructor Squad Captain", which I feel is a bit inaccurate, but well, I do not really mind those details xD _________________ Innocent Tranquility

Now, I've noticed something in the Nanoha official page. There aren't any images of Yuuno and Arf. I think this means we won't be seeing them in StrikerS, and ,personally, I think it's a shame (Because now we can't make fun of ferret-boy XD)

In my opinion there isn't much to seperate the two though if I had to choose I'd say Nanoha & DGZ are slightly better then Yessy but not by enough to make me wait for their release to download from them only. Here's my breakdown:
- Speed of release: Yessy came out with the LQ first. The MQ was released by both on the same day.
- Accuracy of translation. Based on waht Jsy3k said earlier, Nanoha & DGZ are translating more accurately.
- English used: I found the flow of the language easier to read for Yessy. Nanoha & DGZ suffered from alternating between formal English and spoken English in parts. This made it seemed a bit strange when reading the subs at times.
- Timing of subs: Both were equally good in their timing of the subs.
- Font used / ease of reading: Nanoha & DGZ wins this hands down for me. They used a white coloured font with black border. It was always clearly visible.
OP and ED theme: Prefer the one Yessy did as has more effects.
Others: Nanoha & DGZ also subbed the English speaking parts.
Have checked Triad's website. They will be subbing StrikerS
With that I think the question of who has the best translation will be solved, since Triad would win hands down.
Pretty good pilot episode.
-No Chrono, but eventually he'll appear.
-Grown-up Nanoha, Fate and Hayate=teh win
-The seiyuus did a pretty good job for the three aces and Subaru and Teana as well. Does quite reflect their image and personality.

Curious what the release schedule is for this... was this a early pilot or something?
Watching it (and not reading the manga which exists) It felt to me that Nanoha will get the big things to swat while her team gets the 'get everyone to safety' mission.
I mean they are only rank B- (just barely made it into B maybe right?)
Whereas Nanoha is CLEARLY stronger, I made together they are almost a mage, one doesn't have long range attacks, and the other breaks when running around.
All that said I was disturbed by the choice that now people are older they should wear less clothing around their belly...
Was I the only one that didn't like the roller-skater's costume, heck I really liked the aerial battles of A's... not sure I'll like punching stuff on the ground.... not as fun.

I also happened to stumble by Triad's website and I was happy to see they were gonna go through with StrikerS. I'm definitely getting their fansubs =D. Now the next episode is supposed to air the 8 so not much longer to wait ^^.
On a side note red255: Nanoha started as a AAA+ mage so we can see that she's extremely powerful ^^U. Fate was trained ever since she was born, so it's not such a wonder that she too at the age of 9 was a AAA+ mage, although there were some flaws on her original training. Hayate, well she had at her command a really creepy-if-you-have-to-fight-against-it Lost Logia, so it's kinda hard to imagine her not being quite strong.

Actually if Fate was (and I mean was) more powerful, it's because she recieved intense training ever since she was born. Nanoha and Hayate were born with natural talent for magic. Now to explain myself further: Fate's original training seems to have been heavily concentrated on speed instead of power, wich as I mentioned was really flawed, to serve Precia's purposes. Now we all know that Nanoha and Hayate started out knowing nothing on magic, yet look how they handled the situation anyway. After the whole Precia event, while Fate was with Chrono, it seems they started training together to cover the original training and balanced her skills. Meanwhile Nanoha kept training on her own, so she wasn't out of shape. Then after the whole Book of Darkness case they joined the Bureau in wich, I'm sure, they had another training, exams, etc, etc.
As for the ranks I think they go like this: F; E; D; C; B; A; AA; AAA; S; SS; SSS.
So for Nanoha and Fate it's not really a big jump, since they were AAA+ to begin with and now they're S+. As for Hayate I don't know what her ranking was when she started out as a mage so dunno if it's a big jump or not. In any case she's an SS mage right now, so that would make her the most powerful between the three. _________________ Reality is wrong.
