A-S Bokura ga Ita Synopsis & Info.
anyone else watching this series???
i don't know about its manga but this show is pretty good... the animation style may be erm old-ish but it fits perfectly to the mood... _________________

Yes, I do.
Nothing special, but it's good.
I like it. Good for relaxing. |

I am
Good to know that there are others watching this. I looked forward to this ever since I heard about its release (never knew the manga). Only because it's shoujo. It surprised me though, the atmosphere is VERY "slice of life". Little background music, most jokes and things are silent. But things are still funny.
I like the art. It doesn't seem old, just... simple. |

a thing to note about how the art is done... they mainly focus on the characters that are interacting... most of the scenes where yano and nanami would be conversing had the background nonexistent or abstracted so that you would only focus on the two and what they were saying... its a nice touch... _________________

Yeah I noticed that too.
Very poor almost nonexistent background.
So that was the idea behind it.
Nice. |

| I think the series is pretty light and gives the feeling that its alive. The only problem i have is characters having one eye in some scenes. It might be part of the emotions but it's still a bother. |

well i think they may be aiming for that really simple artwork so anything that would simplify the work of the artists like taking away one eye which is very much detailed in this series is going to be done... _________________

| good show, i especially like how the relationship goes back and forth but without doing it in the annoying way that its mostly done in shows. ie they like each other but dont tell each other and keep having misunderstandings and 75 episodes and 7 aborted confessions later they get together. in this one they get together and then start having problems, its fresh. |

ah yes.. the relationship thingy.. hehehe one of the many things that keep me glued to the show... its believable enough to pass for a real life situation.. aside from the overly convenient girl gets killed in an accident dilemna.. _________________

There are sometimes that I like this show, and then there are others when I want to beat the crap outta them. But I guess that is what keeps me watching.
Anyway in the last episode it looks as if things have gotten worse again.
Who thinks she will end up with his friend there??

12 eps and a break up... interesting.. and then there is the matter of yano's buddy seemingly up for a rebound.... that would fairly give this series its twist and conflict.. good show indeed...
on another note...
stupid stupid yano... of all the times he would blurt out his hatred for nana-san he just had to be all true to himself and say in front of nanami that he still loves nana-san.. stupid stupid stupid...

mmm...i like the animation and design mostly, the colors are pretty muted but they stay that way for the entire series. sometimes they change how the colors are in other anime and it bothers me, so that's good.
and sometimes i like the voices, but they're pretty blah, and don't ever get emotional or anything, so it can get boring to listen to. but overall, i like the series, it's very cute.
still, yano is a lying jerk! damn him! |

ahhh interesting...
a little conflict to put in some needed tension... i wonder if nana will reallly fall of tekeuchi... i hope not.. they kinda don't mix...
as much as i hate yano i still thinks he fits lil' nana...

i watch it too
as some have mentioned before, the way it is drawn with muted color, simple, and i may add, the chibi thing, works really nice.
the storyline is not that orginal but i has a charm that makes you want more and more...
it kind of remembers me of kare kano... |
