What desktop resolution do you use?

Hello, the reason why I'm this thread is to get a consensus on what is the typical desktop resolution that people using right now. We're making a survey on this matter to determine an outline to use for making a website and viewing website, a research thing if you might say.

Hope you all can help and vote in the poll. Additional info and comments would be highly appreiated Wink

1024x768 is the desktop resolution I use in my computer. It is better than using something higher or lower.

Atashi...were on the same boat!!

i also use 1280x1024 resolution. I used to use 1024x768 but I find it too large so I switched to a higher resolution. looks great than before!!!

I am currently using 1600 X 1200. I just changed it a few minutes ago since I found out that 1280 x 1024 is still too big for me =P

I got a brand new big-ass 19" monitor (it had a rebate on it, so it was actually cheaper than the smaller monitors). Not sure what the res is... must be like 1600 x 1200 or something, it's big, that's all I know

of course, all the images and wallpapers I had saved on disc are 1096xwhatever, so they don't really work too well as wallpapers now

Thanks for your replies... so most people use higher resolution nowadays... just want to ask

Since most here have high resolution, do you have problem viewing/reading website that use font size of about 10pts?

i use 1024x768 its easier on the eyes...and i just tried 1200x1600, it dosen't work on my lil moniter, it puts it out of frequency Laughing
