I just bought a macbook pro for school, and its the only computer im taking with me. I want to download some shows, but I was wondering if there are certain programs I need to download, or if its even possible.
If not Im just going to have to put windows on my laptop |

Sure is. You should be able to watch some with Quicktime. There's also MPlayerOSX. And it looks like there's also VLC.
Not sure if they come with codecs that you'll need, though. Check and see ^_^; |

Woops. I'm stupid, lol. Well, you could use the official BitTorrent client, use Tomato Torrent or, a cross-platform client since it's java-based, azureus.
And for IRC, you could use X-Chat. Although, there are other clients out there. |

Well if you recently bought the mac laptop with intel processor you should be able to install boot camp. With boot camp you can run windows on a MAc. How cool is that? All the cool programs that are out for PCs that are not out for macs yet you can just install them on windows with boot camp. All you need is a Mac with intel processor,Mac OS X Tiger v10.4.6 or later, 10GB free hard disk space, a blank recordable CD and a windows installation disc. you can check out more about boot camp by goung to:
