I have started on this 5 volume manga by Segawa Masaki. The localised region version here has only gotten to Volume 3 so far but I guess I have read enough to talk about it.

It is a gory take on a Ninja clan feud story. The story by the late author seems to be acclaimed in Japan. To me however, it seems like the manga adapatation lost a lot of the flavour the novel had, perhaps since the manga's story seems fairly simple ( kill, kill, kill ) though twists are here and there. It gives a little feeling of Romeo and Juliet Ninja-style.

Still the art is interesting and good, though none of the characters are handsome or beautiful to the extremes we are exposed to these days.

I read only the first 2 volumes of this manga, but it has a very good art and the story, even if it's based (but not totally like) Romeo & Juliet, it has a very good action and I'm waiting to see more, the Ninja Skills are very interesting.....!!!!!!!!!

This manga is now released in the US! So you can now find it at your local book stores.

I never read it before it was licensed, so this is my first experience with it. So far, I am very impressed.
