Have you seen the psp ads lately, terrible and this one takes the cake

Sony needs to get a new and less offensive marketing strategy

Oh my lord that was horrible. They should have just put 2 PSP's beside eachother 1 black and the other white or something.

LOL maybe Sony is saving their good stuff for ps3 anyway who the hell in marketing would approve this?

Yup, it was horrible. But Sony apologized and decided to pull out the ad.

It was showing the change from the Black Colored PSP to the White Colored PSP.

Just a note, but if I remember correctly, that ad was posted in Europe. We must remember here that history gets a bit changed from continent to continent and that someone in say Russia might have a different reasoning that me who's in the US. But yeah, it's quite racist, but then again, so are most psp commercials.

That is one of the funniest and most stupidly racist ad I have ever seen in my entire life. Whoever made that ad should be dragged out into the street and shot. What the hell was Sony thinking? I have no doubt that somebody will find some sort of grounds for a stupid lawsuit. Jesus..... still funny though.

The choice of skin colors was to depict the colors that will be available for the PSP. I thought it was nice and artistic. I hope I'm not racist.

As horrid as the ad seems from a gamers perspective (the only real appeal to the average gamer would be some skin showing, and even that isn't much to be impressed about) I think sony's was trying to make an ad for the more mainstream, non-gamers - or their marketing department just needs a bit of revamping.
