Wired or wireless?
I'm using Aztech DSL600ER 4 port router modem. Bought it at RM150 after my Kasda (given by Streamyx) got fried by lightning.
The interface is clean and easy to understand, quite suitable for tech newbie. Runs smoothly even after being on for a week, temperature is low (not the adapter) and very silent. Has no problem handling more than 1000 connections so BT works fine as well.
From what i've heard, routers like D-Link, NetGear and Linksys can't handle more than 200 connections using the default firmware. You'll have to upgrade the firmware or maybe use a 3rd party firmware to fix this. |

My dad decided to buy a D-link router without researching it first...
as a result our wireless router would reset everytime someone in our neighbourhood used a wireless home phone (not cell). It was very annoying and needless to say I made my dad return it after a scolding =P
I would recommend you do some careful look up on each router to make sure there are no existing issues with them. Best connection is always wire though if you can. _________________

If you want a lot of connection to your BT, I suggest SpeedTouch models. I am currently using that and so far, I do not have a problem dealing with >5000 connections that I set for my BT.
And yeah, stock firmwares are not good for the routers listed above by Lucifer, especially Linksys. Upgrade it to the latest, and it should not have a problem, but only if you are using wired. If you are using wireless, it is harder to configure. _________________

| Linksys is good, and so is Buffalo, but stay away from Netgear, I've had the most trouble with those. |

| I have used netgear DG814 ( router with built-in adsl modem ) and Linksys router ( WRT54G ), both of em are quite stable. Although the linksys model has lots of non-official firmwares that provides added functionalities, warranty is voided for such rogue usage though. |
