This show was just amazing. Watched the first episode on NBC last night, and I've got to say that it was spectacular and am looking forward to how it turns out. Anybody else watch?

Yes as a matter of fact I did. I agree that this show shows great promise and it was fantastic. Finaly a good show to watch on NBC. I also like the random jabs they take at practically everything, especially that joke about Good Morning El Paso. In case you dont know El Paso is notorious for having one of the worst newspaper and news programs in the US, and I thought that was hilarious that they brought that up. So yes, I look forward to watching more of this show. I was a little sad that Matthew Perry was reduced to playing the same exact character as he did on friends, but aside from that this show has me hooked.

I completely loved the jokes in it. they were more witty than the average "You hear the one about the preist and rabbi" crap you'd hear elsewhere. As for Perry, I loved him as Chandler, always will always have. The character just kinda suits him, but the Matt Albie avatar is a bit more over the top than Chandler Bing. Well, to each his own I guess.

True Matt is still charming, and actually I found him to be more low key than Chandler. Other characters that intrigue me are Wes and that cocaine guy.... cant remember his name well. I hope D.L. Hughley does not mess his role up because he is one of the few old school comedians that I enjoy. And I hope they play that Christian sketch next week.

I'm more intrigued by Jordan and D.L.. Jordan cause she has more guts than anyone I know. D.L. cause I stuck through a few seasons of The Hughleys with him.

Jordan I didnt care for too much. I found her to be predictable and somewhat sterotypical business woman type. I didnt hate her, but I didnt like her much either. The only reason I like Wes is because he spoke the truth DEAD ON. And Peripheral Vision man actually made me laugh because it was SSSSSOOO stupid and they accentuated that well.

Stereotypical maybe, but my gut's telling me that she'll turn into something. Maybe it's just me though. And in the respect that Wes spoke the trith was very cool, but still, there are much safer ways to speak it than on national television.

THATS THE POINT!!! That is why he has my admiration. I admire his gumption for doing it so that somebody will actually SEE and HEAR it. Safer ways to do it would be useless. He wanted everyone to know what kind of smut they were watching. What better way than national TV on an extremely popular show?

You do realize that he could have always just quit, gone to another show or movie or hell, even a news station and then just given his little speach with even few reprocutions. A blog would have even done it, but that's a bit of an oxymoron.

Personally, I hated the song. It's been overdone and poorly written each time. My favorite part is when Harriot barges into Matt's writers meeting. That was funny, if only for the timing.

I loved MOST of the song, but some of it was like "Okay......" That was probably my least favorite part. Favorite part had to be.......I guess I have no favorite part. Oh wait that part were Jordan told everyone that she was going to air the sketch anyways. I laughed because my first thought was "She has balls" lol
