I still think she is streotypical and I still dont really like her THAT much. Wes is still the king for me. I wasnt talking about the press confererence either. I was referring to the scene after that, when that christian magazine was threatening her with protests and all the BS. God I hate that...... BUNCH OF FREAKING PANSIES!!!! _________________ Miku Miku!!

I didn't say I was either. I just like the press conference. In my opinion though, any magazine entitled Rapture is so very screwed up in the head. I guess Wes was right. _________________ [img:450:200:d0a28f8b61]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/9979.jpg[/img:d0a28f8b61]

I didnt respond because you were gone. Anyways it took a while for Rapture to click for some reason. I was like "Rapture. Huh. Interesting." It was not until she mentioned the christian sketch that I was like " OH YEAH that thing. Makes sense."
Trying to remember what else I liked about the episode..... at least Hughley was a decent character this time around. I loved the table writing scene where they were mouthing off stupid ass ideas and Matt was just going crazy. Quite the commentary on what is supposed to pass as funny these days. _________________ Miku Miku!!

Indeed. The sad thing is, some of those scetches would've killed on Saturday Night Live. Just goes to show how fall they've fallen. But another one of my favorite parts was the clock. I'm going to enjoy seeing Matt obsess about the clock for the entire show. _________________ [img:450:200:d0a28f8b61]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/9979.jpg[/img:d0a28f8b61]

Yes I know. I thought about that alot. Although I have not actually sat down and watched any episode of SNL recently, there is damn good reason for that. IT SUCKS. Really badly. So badly that I remember several sketches where my face was akin to a corpse. No response at all. This show has to be commentary on that. Although techinically they would be putting down their own show.... but whatever. Clock was humerous, although I kept wondering why he tortured himself by watching it. But in the end he did it. I was still dissappointed that I didnt get to see "Crazy Christians" though. _________________ Miku Miku!!

Hell, I wanted to see that scetch. I can assume that it would be the wittiest thing on the show so far. But yes, SNL has just gone down hill, and so have their actors. Will Ferell is a prime example. _________________ [img:450:200:d0a28f8b61]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/9979.jpg[/img:d0a28f8b61]

YES. OH GOD YES. He sucks so badly now its pathetic. I think I only liked him as that nude model though...... that was a while back too. I doubt they will ever show Crazy Christians though. It just adds to the ambiance and persona of the show if you dont know what it is. Assuming it stays as a regular reference of course. _________________ Miku Miku!!

If Rapture has anything to say about, it'll be. I'm just hoping that the show stays on track. I've seen good shows ruin because they betrayed the concept and sold out. _________________ [img:450:200:d0a28f8b61]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/9979.jpg[/img:d0a28f8b61]

I seriously doubt they will sell out. When you begin the season making fun of yourself its just a good start. Besides, who would they sell out to? Every sponser is leaving them lol. _________________ Miku Miku!!

True enough. I'm kinda waiting for a riot of horny religious cults outside of NBC wanting them to take studio 60 off the air. _________________ [img:450:200:d0a28f8b61]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/9979.jpg[/img:d0a28f8b61]

Crazy Christians probably won't be showed because of the obvious thousands of christians that would be offended. Anyways, after watching the third episode, I'm still liking it, but could use just a bit more of a push. _________________ [img:450:200:d0a28f8b61]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/9979.jpg[/img:d0a28f8b61]

Ah, Studio 60.
In regards to Crazy Christians, I believe they used it primarily as just a reference for a joke. I really don't think Sorkin planned on ever actually filming the skit. It's more left to the imagination, which is usually more funny than whatever I professional writer can think up.
Anyways, aside from Heroes, Studio 60 is one of the better series to come out this fall. Rumor has it that it might be cancelled, which is a shame. People just don't know good television, I guess. Too busy with their CSI spinoffs and reality show garbage.
So far, Studio 60 and Heroes (both aired on Monday nights back to back) are pretty much the only things worth watching on television (besides football!!!). I would be heartbroken as well as disappointed in the television public as well as NBC for not giving it enough support. You go Aaron Sorkin! You go Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford! |

Well, the rumor could be quite true considering the falling ratings. I guess the humor and drama of it all is lost on America. It really is just a shame. I'm hoping it stays on CTV so the torrents keep coming out. I'm going to miss Mondays when I could sit in front of the TV and just watch instead of knitpicking every little detail morally incorrect with the shows these days.
As for Crazy Christians, I'm just saying that it would have been a great sketch. I personally loved Jesus as the head of standards and practices one, but this one would have just put the entire show on top of the market for religious sketches. I'm really just a huge fan o9f them in any form as you might be able to tell, but for the time being, I'm stuck with the occasional SNL.
In conclusion, Studio 60 is really just the best show that I have ever seen period. In respect to overall of course. If we talk scifi, then of course, we must talk Stargate SG-1. Talk about Atlantis, and of course, I will have to smack someone. _________________ [img:450:200:d0a28f8b61]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/9979.jpg[/img:d0a28f8b61]
