I believe that a DVD player CANNOT play a DVD data disc unless it's re-encoded to be played by a DVD player.
I did what you have just done before since I was clueless about it. but Since I have Nero burning rom. I just chose "create your DVD video" and it was able to play on a DVD player...though It only fits 4 episodes per Single layer DVD. _________________

it really depends on the dvd player. such as my playstation can't play a data disk. but my friends APEX dvd player can. it should say wether or not it can somewhere on the player or in the manual. _________________ Want advice DONT WORK AT WALMART... Theres your freebie... |

If you want to play avi files, you need a DVD player that can play DivX in order to play the video. The CD that your relative gave you could be in VCD format, which is different from avi format. You may want to check your DVD player to see whether they can play DivX or not. _________________

Its should work I think but I think its better just to buy an apex dvd player or a dvd player that plays divx I use to have the same problem like you but I got an apex player >< _________________ COMPETITIVE GAMERS TOURNAMENT

Yes, it will since every conventional DVD player should be able to do that. But of course, you need a burner software to do that. If you have Nero, you should not have a problem. _________________

Ok, I got nero, but when I try to add the files to the burning of a dvd compatible with a player, it freezes. The files I'm trying to add are both avi and about 350-390 megs a piece. Can someone help please? _________________ [img:450:200:d0a28f8b61]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/9979.jpg[/img:d0a28f8b61]

You may be fooled if you download the wrong installer from nero's homepage.
When you go to downloads make shure you download nero ultra's FULL INSTALLER if you pick less than the best you'll get burned no I wasn't going for a punjavascript:emoticon(' ')
Laughing.
When the list comes up for the downloads just pick the one furthest to the left it's your best bet if you already know this then by now your wishing my demise sorryjavascript:emoticon(' ')
Sad.
If you aren't using ultra then your missing a ton of features you may need for the task at hand and that's the best I can do as I have a 65" high def and a computer set to hook into it so I've had no problems like that. |
