so yeah.. i wanna just ask out if anyone else is watching this series...
first few seconds and i knew this anime is gonna be weird... i mean come on.. its so obvious with the art and animation...
but somehow.. having watched already the third episode im still wanting to know what happens next...
i don't really mind the animation anymore... i feel it indirectly makes me focus on the dialogue and the overall story so yeah... _________________

I wanna see more ninja-monkey action!
The first thing that will strike most people is the animation (duuuhhh!), but have a listen to the background music. There some really great tunes in the background; jazzy mood tunes during atmospheric scenes and explosive percussion pieces during action sequences.
I'm definately gonna follow this for at least 10 eps to see where the story goes (although at the moment, it appears quite predictable) |

This is fast becoming my favorite series right now. I love both the art animation and the story, finally a full series by Masaaki Yuasa whose style is very unique and original.
Definitely something i would recommend. |

okay... now the question is which fansub to follow... Anime4ever & Yoroshiku have done a good job so far, but Shinsen-subs have picked up Kemonozume as well and have put out episode 5 first.
Decisions, decisions.... |

you can always try out shinsen and then decide if their version of the subs are any good... if so then go get them if not then be patient for A4E and Yoroshiku... _________________

Yoroshiku will be releaseing 5-7 soon enough.. and very good quality, cuase their translator/editor system pwns. Besides, whats the point of watching a series if you dont understand whats going on becuase of crappy translation? _________________

A4E & Yoroshiku and Shinsen-Subs put out good consistently good quality stuff. I think the main difference in the subs that I can see so far are that A4E are using Flesh Eaters whereas Shinsen stick to Shokujinki. Oh and A4E put more swearing than Shinsen.
Vid quality wise, both seem the same, but A4E & Yoro have larger video file sizes. |

This link should at least more or less resolve the issue between the two groups.
Anyways, episode 1 was quite interesting... o_o with the story, the art (maybe a little too much, but I guess it is okay), etc. I'll keep a watch on this series... |
