i laughed at the antics of the movie.. but having it as an animated series? hmmmm i dunno.... might go see it then judge by then...

I agree with v-boi. I dont think this is one of the those movies that tranlsates well into a animated childrens sereis.  Granted the movie was decent enough, I dont see enough substance for a lengthy season. But whatever. I guess they could have picked worse movies, like Crocodile Dundee or Ghost lol.

To me this just sounds a lot like corporate greed, or at least greed by Mel Brooks. If this is true, this is the same kind of antics that Mr. Brooks pulled with the Producers (both Broadway production and movie).
Oh well it should be interesting to see how popular this show could be. The movie was kind of funny, but definitely not one of Mr. Brook's best films (that would be Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein). |

Hahahaha, What are you talking about? Crocodile Dundee would be kick ass. 
The title of this thread caught my eye. Space Balls the movie was great but like truey and vboi, I cant imagine it as a animated series. Dont think it would go far. Though I cant wait to see what they'll show.
