If anyone cares I have swiched to uTorrent(or as I'm told by a friend picotorrent as the u is flipped I don't know how to do that.)
This client is 2x faster downloading & uploading 2x more stable.
I have only used a small amount of features as I like to keep it simple but I have used it to download about 5GB of anime and it only took about 2 days and I have never gotten that kind of speed out of the original client.
I may be wrong there may be one more stable or faster out there but the selling point for me was after I completed the download I didn't need to defragment I had less than 1% fragementationjavascript:emoticon('Shocked')
Shocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well just a tip hope it's usefull.

What bittorrent did you use before, cause right now I'm using Azureus and it seems to be pretty good, though I haven't tried any of the other clients before.

uTorrent is the Best BT client in my opinion since it only uses small resources to run the client.

Bitcomet is a good client also but is banned from other fansub groups...the reason I don't know. All i know is that It CAN Download soo fast...

I used plain old BitTorrent and since the swich I've had sustained speeds in excess of 40 KBs down no prob and I can burn without defragmenting my hard drive its great!!
You can set up times for torrents to be active and set different speeds as you see fit but I just crank it up because it doesn't seem to slow my network down enough to be a problem but I haven't been useing it for much else anyways heh.
My tip you should get stock in dvd blank producers as I'm going to use alot!

µ = micro, not pico Laughing

Yes, µtorrent is THE standard BT client most trackers use today. Forget about the others, this is all you need. Azureus is written in Java so it "sucks" a lot of memory which is bad for computers with low RAM while Bitcomet aka tracker hammer is banned from many popular trackers plus it's quite unstable.

Most people can max their bandwidth using µtorrent so if anything goes wrong, it'd usually be your own fault or your ISP's.

Yep. I use utorrent too. But I have a small problem with it.

When my DL finishes, I sometimes run the torrents again, and I sometimes find that the DL is only 99.7% completed or so. Not a problem with the HDD because it's brand new.

Is there a way to enable hash check after DL completes?

Currently no such feature, auto hash check is on request list but i don't think it'll be implemented anytime soon.

There's a chance of having bad sectors even for brand new hard disks.

If your useing a maxtor (and I hope you are as they are the best) then you need to download maxblaster from maxtors webpage and run it to find out if there are any bad sectors or power fluctuations as this could be the problem.
You may check your settings on the download I had them go to the same dirrectory and Ive had no problems so far the default settings have unfinished and finished in two different spots wich in some cases can be a problem.
If that doesn't work then it's time to go over your network your IDE cables and if all else fails try reinstalling the client or possible windows repair as much as it sucks.

I hope I was of help and to Lucifer I was unaware of that fact I was simply informed by an aparently incorrect friend, thanks for the info I'll be sure to rub it in his facejavascript:emoticon('Laughing')

(Update does not play well with zone alarm if it crashes zone alarm just shut zone alarm down and restart it no prob just odd)

Previously, I used Azureus due to the fact that it has RSS feeders, but now with uTorrent implementing that feature, I used it often. With also lesser resources being eaten up, I can run much more applications on the back when I am downloading things (~^_^)~

It isn't bad sector, because I checked for that after I finished installing all the programs I need (and I use Seagate, which doesn't really matter anymore becasue Seagate aquired Maxtor).

Anyway, it only happened to one torrent (it's the [Froth-Bite] Zero no Tsukaima batch torrent, but I only DL-ed ep 13 from the batch. Maybe that's why it rolls back to 99.7% when I reload the torrent after DL finishes)

Seagate may have acquired maxtor however they are still useing the old ball bearing technology not that that's bad but it hinders performance and the hard drives there selling are still of substantially lower quality as they are not useing maxters design because they are from before they perchased maxtor.
The main reason they did this was to trick people into buying there crappy drives so that they could unload them and upgrade there tech to release better drives next year so any perchased between now and next year are not so good but this is only my opinion.
If it's just the one torrent then I wouldn't be so concerned however if others have the same problem I would recomend seeing how they run on another computer of similar spec to yours if they run better then check there settings and replicate other than this I would need inspect your setup to figure it out.

If anybody else would chime in it would be greatly apreaciatedjavascript:emoticon('Confused')

That sounds relitively and I'm not trying to be a show off or anything but last night when I left work at 8:00pm I started 27 Gigs worth of anime.
At the time I had 17 Gigs of free space on my laptop when I came in at 11:00am the next day after leaving my torrents uncapped all night I had 3.85Gigs of free space leftjavascript:emoticon('Shocked')
Shocked.

14 Gigs overnight I'm in lovejavascript:emoticon('Embarassed')
Embarassed.

So I know you have your preferance but so far this client is tops at least to me and I highly recomend you give it a shot you wont be dissapointed.

Whats the website for it, I might give it a try. Also, is it possible to have two clients without them having conflicts with each other, like only running one at a time? Don't want to have to uninstal Azureus, just incase I don't like MicroTorrent.

Well I know that for the most part the clients take up as little space in vurtual memory as possible. However they can possibly cause conflict with some running apps if they use the same windows components as them so to be honest I haven't attempted that.
I would recomend using a second computer to install it on which has a similar setup as yours and do a side by side as this can show you a much wider view of all your possible problems.
As far as finding Micro-Torrent just type in (utorrent) and it should be within the first two or three choices I can tell you now that you will be using it as your main client in no time but remember no matter how good your client is your internet provider ends up making up half the speed so make sure you can fully use it.
