Reguardless of what's happening I still don't see Nayuki and Yuuichi ever being together. First off... They're family.
About that...I think there's the point that even direct cousins are allowed to have a relationship in Japan, so technically speaking, it isn't entirely impossible looking from that point of view. It would be easier, though, to see him in a relationship with Shiori or Mai for that matter due to the development seen in the show, save for the fact that he and Ayu go way back, even though he can't remember much of their time altogether.
Quote:
Second off, he's in love with Ayu, always has been until whatever event transpired to make him completely forget everything... I would assume there was more to it then Ayu not showing up or him lashing out at Nayuki. At least that's what I think...
Easy. It has something to do with Ayu-chan, the tree and probably high heights.

Yuuichi is relatively a nice guy, so for him to do what he did was completely out of character, he must've been in a truly terrible mood to lash out like that.
Lash out? When? If you're talking about the time when they were no more than 10 year-olds, I won't really consider it OOC, because he probably was just through something quite...traumatic.

Episode 22 came out. Man...I love this anime
OMG we got to see makoto again . And Ayu actually DIED before Yuuichi left So....that would mean she was a ghost /spirit/whatever, when they met up again?!? And is it only 23 episodes?...wow, its getting really exiting.

Ayu's death has been hinted at before, so it's not really that surprising. What I wonder now is what's gonna happen next episode...what will become of Akiko and Yuiichi's last wish? The preview was so vague I wonder if you can even call it a preview.
Anyway, Everywhere I looked it said 24 episodes, so even if 23 is called finale, 24 there WILL be a 24. Looking forward to both. I wonder how the series will end, because 2 episodes away it still looks like it gan go in any direction.

That's how previews for a climax should be: Leaving much out but having enough to warrant anticipation.
To this end, I'd say a 'no-girls' ending might be quite possible, unless shown otherwise in episode 24, which I believe it to be an aftermath episode of the finale.
I'm pretty sure Akiko will be all right, though. So far all the characters in trouble have pulled through, so Akiko should be just fine, as would Nayuki. For Ayu, though, it's a little vague on my part, considering how she had already died and all.
I hope the next one jerks the tears out of me.... _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97]
so 22 was the most emotional episode since Makoto's arc for me. I didn't expect to see what happened with Ayu just like I didn't expect to see it with Akiko either. I can't wait till the next episode, it's almost upon us.

With all the strange stuff happening in that town, I'd really want to visit it. Mai, Ayu, Makoto, are all examples of what are impossible in our world...

See, what gets me about this, is Mayukis foreknowledge. She knew about the tree. And call me suspicious, but I think she knew about Makoto as well. What else does she know, and why didn't she tell Yuichi?
There are going to be quite a few complaints from those who played the game before, though, seeing as it is. _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97]
Seems Kyoto Animation is working on an anime version of Clannad now. Don't know it's release date(I've seen both October and March 20th), but anyways it's the last of Key's major works to be made into an anime. Should be good whenever it releases.

NO! its over Anyways I kinda feel like the ending was rushed. Other than that, that was one of my favourite anime of all time. Can't wait for Clannad (Clannad is a musican group as well right?)
