My list:
1. Grave of the Fireflies - I watched it with my mom. This ended with me and my mom crying! For Heaven's sake I was vainly trying to hide my sniffling! Geh! Talk about a really sad anime. It made me wiser though. Watch sad themed animes alone.. or preferably with no mom/dad/brothers/sisters around.
2. Saikano - "The last love song of the planet" - and its not a spoiler!
3. Full Metal Alchemist (including the movie) - it was really unnerving. I ended up sighing for days.
4. EF A tale of memories - so bittersweet
5. Elfen Leid
6. Rurouni Kenshin: Reminiscence
7. Honey and Clover (2nd Season)
8. Clannad
9. Ai Yori Aoshi
10. Hantsuki
