Would you ever dress up as an anime character?
Maybe just once and just for fun and maybe for halloween but I will just try that once and then after that, it is over. I just want to try something new and it looks kind of interesting... |

There's another method of wearing one without having people think you're a dork.
It's called cosplaying. _________________

I think it would be kinda fun to cosplay. I havent done it before, but the idea of dressing up and acting like my favorite characters seems fun to me, and I think it would also be fun to participate in cosplay games at anime conventions. _________________ [IMG:500:100:5f9d323c6a]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v439/spender/Witchbladebanner3.jpg[/img:5f9d323c6a]

sure why not... but they have to be in erm the right occassion.. say halloween or anime conventions..
and maybe il go with something simple at first... then if i enjoy it enough then go for a little challenging costumes.. _________________

i dont mind cosplaying its just that i'm not that devoted to make a costume myself or have the mentality to wear it for long unless my friends are with me or other people are doing it as well. hell i dont mind, i already wore a skirt and ppl i am a guy and i am not gay either. _________________ ALL HAIL LELOUCH

| Bah an complete costume...? I'll need an special occasion I guess. But still I'm always wearing some accessorys but again there are not that flashy so I'll guess that don't count. I wont mind trying some of the hair cut ... but those I love the most defy gravity too much to be realistic |

I was going to dress as Koizumi from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya at the next Katsucon, but the group I was going with got dismantled, so now I would just be sticking out.
For AB06, I was considering either Tate Yuuichi from Mai HiME (a simple costume) or Commander Huey O. Volcott from Galaxy Angel (more complicated), but it woulda been a pain since I would have had to keep changing in and out of my staff clothes.
My answer... maybe _________________

If I were to ever bother doing something so troublesome of putting a costume together...then yes maybe
It'd be fun to...but I'm way too lazy about it~ _________________ Get ready to vote for who you think is the Sexiest Anime Character!! |

Gosh i would love to but the question is COULD I when the chance has risen. The main problem is making the costume, being unequiped with any proper sewing, nitting or clothe fabrication skills it seems like a somewhat distant dream for me unless i fish out some serious cash maybe.
Finding the right time to wear the costume so you won't stand out or look weird that people would want to throw rotten food at you won't be too hard for me. Even though i don't think Australia is a hardcore halloween celebrator (like USA) some people do celebrate it and mention it so wearing on that day won't seem too weird i think. Other than that day our University holds PROSH [do not question the name...do not ask about it its only my first year at university (as at 11th of October 2006) and i do not know why its such a weird name] which is a day somewhere in April where people dress up in costumes and sells newspapers (written by students) to the unsuspecting public to raise money for Charities.
*wishes for fairy godmothers to exist so she can wish/grant me a awesome costume so I can participate in PROSH next year*
Oh yeah if you live or holidaying in Western Australia, happen to see weird costumes and people selling paper in the middle of April support us and buy a copy, or better yet if you can sew join in _________________ Personally I'm always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught. - Sir Winston Churchill |

for those extreme outfit like some kind heavy armored guy of course not! I don't want to spend lot of cash for that!
well, what kind of anime costumes i've been wearin so far is just the ordinary boys hih school uniform... haha (even though its normal in japan its totally different in my country). since that's my school's anime club uniform.
it's not embarassing after all... IF you wear it at the right places ^^ _________________ Whatever the past has been, has been the past...

Would like to dress up like a anime character but with the easiest costumes first. I plan on cosplaying Heero Yuy from Gundam Wing first then move on to other characters. _________________
