REMAKES ARE FINE!!! THEY ARE NOT YOUR ENEMIES!!!

Comparisons to the original series are inevitable, unfortunately. People are just going to keep on doing it. It might lie dormant for several weeks and then some newbie will come on and say something like "I thought the original was much better!" then the whole thing will start up again.

I've said all I want to say on the matter, so unless someone comes up with something really insightful, I'm just going to ignore stuff like that from now on.

My last post wasn't about that, though. Have we really just had a whole year in three eps? What do you guys think about that (and are the points I made valid)?

ya seriusly,lets talk about the remake.

i like the fact that the story is going to start one year later.cause it like kind of saying that the remake wanted to start of that way but then it would seem its a second season so they changed a few things in the begining or else there would be contradictions.i dont know if eny of you are following me so far.

eny way i cant wait for more eps.

but i have one question for you all.

Is it just me or would enybody else like to see a preview instead of the baka rangers thing in the end?lol

The Baka Rangers thing makes me smile. They seem to just be using the same joke over and over at the moment, though. It'll be pretty pointless if they keep on doing that (not that they will, I'm sure). Otherwise, I don't miss the preview particularly. They're often just used to tell jokes/make gags anyway.

I think more previews should be done like Honey and Clover (i.e. in the ED) it gets rid of the wasted time used by the credits. Unless the song is really good, I'll watch an ED once, maybe twice, then skip it from then on. It's a bit of a waste of time (and hard disk).

Similarly, more OP's should be done like ARIA. That'd be cool. Negima!? with two or three extra minutes of episode? I'll take that.

Some people say that first series was better than this one. Others will say the opposite. Well for me it was shock how different drawings wents but it's cool. I like opening of this one better than older one.

one thing I must laught was when Asuna throught that boat after Evangelline (was Chachamaru late?). anyway cool contract. I wonder who will be next Negi's partner or who discover his true identity.

Yeah im liking this too, its got into the storyline very quicky, but it might've been that Negi made friends with Evangiline too quickly and that story is over, but hay, minor thing, cant judge it before a few more epis in.

this anime remake i think is based on the new manga remake of negima..

im not really sure, ive only read the pliot/prologue chapter, the new manga is titled 'NEGIMA!? NEO'.

the grapichis on this new remake as far as the anime i concerned is better, maybe a bit overly done at some parts. too dramatic for my likes. but not that bad, considering its at least consistent than the first series. dunno.. i kinda like the first manga better(too bad its anime adaptation wasn't really exceptional).. well here new story retelling and better visuals.. the pace kinda hard to get into to..

this is just like 'Maid in Hanaukyo' before.. guess ittl take some time for me to get used to this new remake as well.

About Negi generally. I think that Negi is too young (10 years), if he would be at least 2 years older so it means he'd be 12. Hahaha Negima!? has gotten the Akiyuki Shinbo treatment. If you've watched Pani poni dash or Tsukuyomi: Moonphase, you'll know what I mean. This guy knows how to cheat it out on frame count and still make it look good enough to pass. I remember one episode of Moonphase was practically still picture animation... that was over doing it though...

Negima!? doesn't seem to be much of a remake, it deviates so much from the first anime series and the manga. This one is all on its own, completely different series, some kind of bizarro world version of the series. The randomness of Pani Poni Dash added.

But what's with the Chupacabra thing in this series? It's proven that those mutilated animals thought to have been killed by Chupacabra were in fact done by stray dog.

Im enjoying this so far, a new storyline for that old anime we know and loved, with more fight scenes.

Epi 4 introduced an aspect that you can get 1 of 3 different battle accessories randomally. Already seen 2 of Asunas now, and Nodoka wasn't shown hers yet, but im gonna guess Negi will make more and more contracts and have mroe of his students helping out. Fights scenes are gonna be so cool, cant wait Very Happy

On a downside, this Nodoka isnt as shy or timid AT ALL. Well its good shes got confidence, but it mite've been a good storyline for her to get that confidence later in the series.

Well it's only been few episodes, it wouldn't be fair to talk about fan service not being there. In the manga, half the time, Asuna runs around without panties. I'd say wait for it, this series is designed to contain fan services. More fan services are sure to come.
