I think this remake is absolutly awesome. Especially the animation detail.

So he's made a contract with Asuna, Nodoka, Kononka and Setsuna...What a team

I don't particularly like the idea of there being only 3 cards, as this show a person cannot keep on improving to a next level, but i like how we are meating each character, getting to know them in detail, and recruiting them as part of the team. This way i might acctually be able to remember most of the peopl's names.

Very good start, though no release for a while Sad

im glad they are doing something else with the series. i was very sad when i first saw the anime...didnt seem much like the manga...didnt have the same flow u know?

This one takes a FAR left away from the manga but that's not really an issue because it's still great. Episode 8 was just released and it's really good. Is it just me or are these kisses happening in the order of how much I like the characters. I'm really surprised at how early he made a pactio with Fuuka and Fukima, but then again, it's only the 8th episode and he already got 4 contracts. Now it looks like Chao and Fu Kei might be next. After them I'm guessing Makie and then Mana(wishful thinking).

Yeah, I know. Makie is a huge part of the manga and she isn't even deeply involved. But episode 8 kinda ties her in with Negima's story, so let's cross our fingers.

He doesn't do that in any of the others. A bit of future relationship indicator there, perhaps? Everything else is strictly arms down...

Nodoka and Negi are cute but I'm more of a Asuna/Negi type. Especially since their relationship isn't so platonic in the anime.

Yeah, me too. But I could be converted to Nodoka with a little bit of effort. I wouldn't mind that being the relationship that wins through in the end, as long as the makers do a good job that is.

Not that there's going to be a set relationship at the end. The first series didn't do it, and this one isn't going to either.

And how many members are in the Chupa club right now? I remember that there were some that seemed to just kinda... Join to eat free food, does that still make them members?

I really love the randomness of this show. I'm enjoying this alot more then I enjoyed the first show.

Well, maybe a season finale. I mean, I honestly doubt it since a manga will be following the anime soon. Unless it's going to be a volume 6 manga or something. Still, it's in my doubts but I'm not going to disprove it.
