For those who knows this PS game, i'm sure you'll be esctatic to know that there'll be an anime coming out in 2007. Sadly its only 13 episodes, but if its as good as the game, it'll be an awesome watch.

However the promo didn't show any action at all, just credits...
If the story and action are good, 13 episodes will be just fine Very Happy

have u played the ps2 game? the characters all look cool, and fighting scenes are brilliant, the best you can ever see =P
that's if they follow the game style...

and the story is good too... its about a half devil human who fights against demons and his own heritage (his dad was the demon king) to protect the human race.

yea i was really hoping that someday they would've made a DMC anime but im afraid that this is going to suck, at least storyline wise. i would've liked if they stuck with the original storyline of DMC: 1 (even tho there wasn't much) but suddenly i see this little blonde girl and an old guy was it? o_O

i already saw the action parts in the two promos and it looks pretty good but its the story im worried about...imagine an anime scene with the virgil vs dante fight in DMC:3....sweet but i don't think its happening in these 13 episodes =[

Actually there's a sub on it, don't know where though since I just streamed it, not very good subs though.

Anyway the first ep involves a little girl that talks etc. Dante is mostly silent and just does what he has to do, shoting everyone up, hard to see all the action since I streamed it. Not exactly great as he seems to have a thing for strawberry sundays so guess that's to kiddy it down. Hope the kid isn't going to stay as a part of the anime. Anyway it's only so so nothing that impressive from what I've seen

First ep is about Dante protecting a little girl and make sure she gets to a place before 18:00 the next day. She's an orphan and it seems she's the illegit child of a rich man and has inherited everything. Though there are people who wants that heritage so she gets target. You can probably figure out most of it now

I just watched the RAW since the link for the subbed Torrent seems to be broken on TT.

What i can say about teh Anime is NOT BAD AT ALL!!! I will be adding this series once a good group picks it up, but for now I'll watch the raws

yea i saw the episode yesterday and it wasn't that great imo. i mean the animation and the action scenes were pretty badass but i think its going to fail in the category of importance on the storyline. Also the fighting scenes were cool but too quick, and he used his guns WAAY too much, it reminded me of hellsing a lot, whenever he used his sword they didn't show him slicing the guy berserk style lol

its really a let down that they didn't do the story of DMC:1 or 3

i'll admit that the first game didn't have that much story but they could've added a lot of stuff to expand on maybe his dad and the castles monsters and his brother, trish, and a whole lot of action. the scene with alastor would've been insane and the final battle between the huge statue when he powers up would've owned so much ARGH!! hope the story picks up into something -_-

o and they need to explain watsup with the random demons going after him...he's suppose to go after them and not the other way around, its like their everywhere, and their hiding as humans!? wtf since when? they should explain this a bit more. it really reminds me of hellsing and i didn't really like how that turned out (the anime, haven't read the manga)
