Then tell me... Why do the fights hafta be lengthened? Why do even set the standards for anime?

There are some people who will not be satifsfied with the length of the fight scenes; too long or too short. And there are some people who'd be happy with the stories alone. And maybe this anime isn't for you :p

BR is still funny as hell. I think that it is better to think of it as Comedy/Action instad of the other way around.
I loved the scene where Kazuki "tells" Tokiko where he thought she lived. Can't get enough of it. And next episode we'll see how they handle a fight again, but so far that has been ok. Not great, just ok.

The last homunculus is gone. It was nice to see a "bad guy" with a bit more of a humane side to him (Ironically, Washio was an animal). I kinda wish he had lasted longer.

Now it is time fro Kazuki to go find Papillon and save Tokiko-san. Poor girl is out of comission.

I still think its a bit corny, but it will gain originality with more episodes

Still reminds me of Bleach, but with furthur epis, it will drift away (like Bleach introduced bankai, captains, soul society, BR will introduce other things to make it different)

I thought the jokes were brilliant...At least, the way they were being showed. Wink

Episode 5 surprised me a bit. I had thought the action was a one-off thing, with the fights ending rather quickly. It took a little longer with the eagle, though, and I'll be looking forward to the next fight.

At first, I thought Tokiko looked kinda weird to be a main heroine, but I find her to be surprisingly cute as I watch more episodes.
The way this series starts off really does resemble Bleach. I just hope this series doesn't end up becoming a mess that Bleach is now. I dropped Bleach as soon as it started airing fillers. I just hate series that drags on without any goal.

BR is planned out to span 26 episodes (only?), so I doubt we'll be seeing too many fillers, if any at all. The manga is over too, so it looks like they are planning to cram all of it in this run. And, at the rate they're going, they just might.

I loved the scene in the burger joint. Those poor guys there. lol. Also, the public response to Chouno's outfit was great. Who in his right mind would walk around wearing that?
And the Captain who won't say his name "because keeping it a secret is cool". Awesome.
