Wow, watched episode 16... it redeemed my opinion of it to 9.

Great job... agonizing slow pace evolved into something good.... if they end with a great unpredictable ending, this could be indeed a true 9 out of 10.

(Interesting display of super powers.)

Damn straight! I've been largely disappointed with Red Garden, but episode 16 completely turned it round for me. It's like the writers got tired of being restrained with the story and just let rip. Brilliant episode.

Comparatively.

Hmmm, undecided about the ending. I think I enjoyed it, but it kind of left me going 'huh?'. It was a bit like, 'well, we're going to tell you how it'll end several episodes in advance, and then... that's actually how it'll end.' Not many surprises, except for Lise coming back and then... dying again...

There was some nice imagery, what with the flowers and everything, but the cityscape just looked, well, bad. A small thing, maybe, but it doesn't help to leave a good lasting impression when it's right at the end.

And there's going to be an OVA! Great, maybe they'll explain some stuff. Like who the hell those doll people were and why all the Animus were fighting for them! It also might be a bit of a challenge to make considering they killed off EVERY character except the four girls...

What did everyone else think?

Oh, and what happened to Paula? Was she not an Animus after all?

Couldn't be bothered to start a new post, but I just watched the OVA, Dead Girls and really liked it. It's so unlike anything else I've seen before. There are some really funny bits, too, it's just a shame there wasn't any kind of closure for the girls (that and the ending was a bit stupid, with 'Louise' and 'Edgar' being swallowed by the island for no particular reason...).

The fact that their 'theme tune' was so rubbish was just hilarious. Laughing

Oh, and their robot being a total fashion crime, and next to useless to boot!

I'm not sure whether the creators intended it to be so funny, but even if a lot of the humour is unintentional (I don't think it was), I still thought this add-on was very good in comparison to the main series. Not sure why it's taken so long for someone to sub it, though. Didn't this come out like a year ago in Japan...?

Anyway, all in all, if you enjoyed the series, I'd say you'd definitely enjoy this added extra.
