Considering what happened when Mariya flipped up Mizuho's skirt in front of Ichiko, not to mention Mizuho lamenting that the road to recovery of his male status had grown longer, I'd say he isn't. He's a guy in drag acting the role of a girl. At no time has Mizuho indicated he wants to be a woman, ergo he is a he.

ROFL silver xDDDD. haven't seen that edit before. Mizuho is completely hittable at this point Embarassed

this show has filled my "sillyyetprofoundlyfulfilling" slot for this season. very little drama and tons of fluff that's just simply fun to watch. the fact that all the characters look great and some polished animation helps ^^.

the only char that has managed to annoy me so far is ghostgirl, stupid chatterbox should have just went to heaven, but i guess they rejected her xD.

Heh. Forecasts for future episodes of Otome wa boku indicate Mariya has romantic feelings for Mizuho. It's kinda nice to be right about that, though it is now becoming clear where the story will be going.

Is the show really only 12 (or 13) episodes long (according to the review for it on as)? It seems that hardly anything serious has happened so far. I'm a little curious as to how they're going to end it.

this show has very little going for it on the serious side ^^.

the only thing i would have considered anything worthwhile for a plot was the grandfather's reasoning for wanting mizuho to attend the school in the first place, but it looks like that has already been cleared up (b/c he looks so much like his mother and his grandfather was probably of the doting father type).

all that's left is mizuho's happy fun times with the rest of the cast and the inevitable drama that'll come when they all find out he's a guy. this can easily end in the next couple of episodes with a typical rush ending that finishes with everyone finding out his secret, lots of drama, reconcilliation, and everyone realizing that mizuho's such a pimp that they're fine with him being there =P. until then, i'm just gonna enjoy the ride ^^

On the not-so-serious side, though, this series has a lot going for it. ^^ Just the music they play during comical scenes, such as when Mariya caught Mizuho in bed with Ichigo and Yukari is hilarious. I love that tune!

Indeed, it does have quite a bit to it. I'm glad it's not all that serious. But with a short series, I do like there to be a plot semi-early/mid on, yknow what I mean? I'd rather not see a rushed last.. 3 episodes.

Yes, I do understand your point. It might have been nice for the more serious romantic entanglements to rear their head a bit sooner ... Still, it's been an enjoyable run.

Is it supposed to be a short series? Only 13 episodes then rather then 24 or 26? I kind of assumed that it would be a longer series simply based on character and story development. If it isn't longer, then I certainly hope that romantic entanglements start soon. We've waited long enough.
