I pretty much think Code Geass, Death Note, Kanon and Tokimeki are pretty much at the top on my 'to watch' list. _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97]

Oooo Fanservice? From Clamp? Now this is something new...
wasnt chobits from CLAMP as well? besides, i thought CLAMP only had its hand on the character designs? can someone confirm if the story is theirs as well?
anyways, good anime thus far, ep1 didnt really impress, but im glad i gave it a few more eps, theres a lot of stuff going on in the story and they managed to blend them in nicely. definitely gonna see this one thru. _________________ [img:400:237:866f672f5a]http://www.geocities.com/bktabz/mari_boya.jpg[/img:866f672f5a]
As it was shown in the opening, CLAMP handled the character design. Character design plays a big role in the storyboard. Though, I believe, Sunrise owns the storyboard and can change bits and pieces to the story as they will.
Episode 5 out, and boy was it entertaining...
-C.C's back...And with a sassy attitude, the ability to handle Lelouch with ease and her love of pizza.
-A small indication of a possible love triangle amongst Karen/Lelouch/Shirley. I won't say much for this, though, since Shirley hasn't been getting important screentime so far.
-Suzaku's meeting with Euphemia. Once again, a GS parallel with Idealist Pilot meeting the Pink Princess. I was relieved, though, that Lancelot was not shown to be as invincible as we thought it was and Suzaku's words made him seem a little less idealistic this time.
-The fighting sequences with Lancelot. Wonderful.
I can't help but feel the parallel of the US getting a little more distinctive...Then again, perhaps I should just stop thinking and enjoy the show. _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97]
I didn't think Clovis would get killed off so soon. I thought he'd have a bit of a longer struggle before Lelouch stmped on him. And Suzaku is the scapegoat for Clovis' death? The Empire sure is ungrateful. It makes a lot of sense and I can't say it was entirely unexpected, but it s a complicated turn of events. Now that the word is out on Clovis' death (thanks to the scheming Jeremiah) it is likely that the terorists and their mysterious leader would want to rescue such a fellow. More conflict up ahead!!
It was nice to see some of the more peaceful side of lelouch's life too, his sister and friends... and his conflicted past.
I'm really looking forward to episode 4!!!
Oh... And Karen's got a nice body...
Woah good job... I don't even notice that Pizza Hut thingy... I remember cursing that restaurant and vow not to return the 2nd time after the crappy service they offer and how much they charge me over mistakenly taken my orders. I was nice enough to let it go just like that sheesh~!!! Is a 1 way ticket for me when it comes to Pizza Hut. Grrr~!!
Karen nice body eh? Hmm... I rather prefer body that isn't that musculine... ehehehhe... Oh... it seems like I overlook Chobits indeed. I guess... clamp make a deep impression to me due to Card Captor Sakura and xxxHolic which I totally forget about Clamp's other productions. My bad...
Yea, ZGMF... for anime like this, is best we don't think and just watch...
Oh... now that it have been a while since ep3 release... another reason why Lulu is really creeping me out:
[img:640:480:be3ab61aa2]http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/3756/lolzpp0.jpg[/img:be3ab61aa2]
He doesn't seems to be sad or even think of his weakness as a disadvantage and he seems rather happy instead... jeez... _________________ [img:800:198:5c85a10b1b]http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1347/feenasighk3.jpg[/img:5c85a10b1b]
I think sadness is really beyond him. As for the disadvantage part...Perhaps Lulu didn't really see it that way. The expression on his face for the screenie reeks of satisfaction, probably at having discovered yet another property of his power.
Which reminds me...This is really getting a really eerie parallel to Death Note and Light... _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97]

Yeah, it's better to know about a disadvantage than not to know about it. He could well be satisfied, in that he can now work his plans around it without too much fuss.

True, but Light didn't have guerrilla wariors standing beside him. Both Light and Lelouch are the calculating, ruthless type. That's just awesome.

Well, If you see the map in the first few episodes Brittania controls the whole of North America, which means that is either the US or its equivalent at the time. The Japanese really had trouble with the outcome of WWII, they thought the US was not a country that was truly worthy of having defeated them. CG pretty much extrapolates from that.
Now, Episode 4... Once again, kicked ass.
"Lelouch's plan suceeded, he rescued (the very naive) Suzaku and asserted himself as a threat to Brittania. He did great at manipulating Jeremiah not with and without the Geass. Holding the crowd hostage, disrupting the Brittanian cohesion on the spot and having Jeremiah take the blame for it all. Magnificent.
I also liked the introduction of Diethard, one of those characters who doesn't seem to have a side but really stands on his own. Interesting. I wonder what is with the Japanese soldier-looking types and Todo... Are they another resistance army? Clovis mentioned him before.
And, finally, I like Lelouch's take on the struggle. Brittania is the enemy, not the citizens. He wants to avoid civillian casualties as much as possible, and his latest ploy didn't kill anyone. I think it is a snesible position. I'm with him all the way, so far. I just hope he doesn't go powerhungry like Light.
And finally... Suzaku. Misguided child. As an "honored brittannian", suspect of Killing Prince Clovis does he really think he can do anything? He sure is optimistic. Well, where would Code Geass go if Suzaku and lelouch wouldn't confront each other?
Oh, and It is nice to see C.C. alive and well. I'd like her to explain to me how to survive a bullet to the head. That may come in handy.

Just finish ep4, damn... this series is getting way out of hand...
My craving desire for the next ep is killing me from within... _________________ [img:800:198:5c85a10b1b]http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1347/feenasighk3.jpg[/img:5c85a10b1b]
I disagree. His role as Zero seems to be taking a bit of a toll. He did get sick when recalling how he killed Clovis, and now before mounting his act he was either crying or sweating a lot. I think Lelouch acts a lot cooler than he actually feels.

I saw it that way too. I think he prefers of focus on how he can use his power, instead of how he can't. _________________

I think Lelouch is well down the path to deep seated sociopathic psychosis. He reaction after throwing up sums it up. He says "My nerves are still too weak for this" (by gg's translation) and then chuckles. He obviously isn't a normal human to start off with, but the fact that he believes he will get used to killing (murdering in fact, no matter what Clovis might have done that kind of execution can't be seen as anything but murder) shows he's progressing to something much worse than he already is. To being an emotionless psychopath. Whether he gets there, or not, is of course another matter.
Four episodes in and Lelouch is already one of the most interesting characters I've seen in anime. Let's hope the story lives up to the potential greatness he brings.

Seems like I caused a misunderstanding. I was simply referring to the part about his feelings towards the shortcomings of his Geass power. Guess I phrased it in a wrong way.
Now, while Lelouch looks to be on the path to being a psychopath (or whatever we wish to call it), he certainly still has a degree of the sanity of a normal human. You're right: The proof comes from his reaction when he fully grasps the consequences of shooting Clovis. Still, I think that's that one obstacle he has overcame if he was to start out on a plan for the destruction of Britannia. After all, taking down an empire would inevitably mean killing lots of people, possibly having to do it firsthand when the need arises.
Episode 5: (Just a few minor teasers)
-C.C's back-and whaddaya know, she ain't the emotionless robotic android girl portraited so many times in roles such as hers. In fact, she seems to give Lelouch a lot of trouble...
-Emergence of a love-triangle?! (Purely speculation) Shirley/Lelouch/Karen.
-Mecha action with Lancelot...Apparently it's not as 'invincible' as we make it out to be.
-Pink princess meets Idealist warrior...Except this time she isn't a songstress and she has a dangerous sister to boot.
That's all for now. Guess we'll have to wait for gg to sub the next one.

I'm looking forward to see him becoming one. Where is the fun when a hero is doing you everyday common stuffs? Like what Suzaku is portraying? I'm sure some of you would find Suzaku foolish like what Lulu mentioned, yes I'm one of them~ Well in any cases he isn't all Psychopath, at least he still cares alot for his little sister. A true conquerer must not possess a kind heart for they shall not rule long. Best example is how cruel Emperor in China could rule the longest, Chao Chao as an example.
*put on a headband and take up a banner*
I support Lelouch~!! Hail to the new Conquerer Lelouch~!! _________________ [img:800:198:5c85a10b1b]http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1347/feenasighk3.jpg[/img:5c85a10b1b]

Pretty much, from the looks of episode 4. He reeked too much of the Idealist stereotype for main characters, but I'm pretty sure either there's more to it, or he will find to cold harsh 'truth' of reality and learn to accept that things won't always go his way.

Indeed. Lelouch also worries about getting Shirley in trouble as well in episode 3, should he be found out. I don't think Lelouch wants to be a conqueror; just a revolutionary. I'm pretty sure conquest wasn't what personalities like Lenin had in mind when he staged the Revolution for Communists. He just wanted change, and he probably believes that will only come via the destruction of Britannia and their imperialistic rule.
By the way, Cao Cao was never an 'official' Emperor. He's self-proclaimed. If you wish to talk about cruelty, all Emperors have a certain degree of that in them, though perhaps most would refer to Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China as a reference. _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97]
